What kind of event is this? Every Tuesday, there is a Spotlight Hour in Pokémon GO. From 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, this type of event is active and highlights a selected Pokémon for 60 minutes. You will encounter it very frequently in the wild.
Additionally, there is a bonus that rounds off the event for you. Here we show you an overview of what will happen today, on September 13th.
Spotlight Hour on September 13th – Start, Bonuses, Shiny
When does it start? As usual, it begins at 6:00 PM German time with the Spotlight Hour and Trasla. The event is active until 7:00 PM.
What bonuses are there? During the Spotlight Hour, you will encounter Trasla almost everywhere in the wild. If you use incense, you can further increase the number of spawns.
Additionally, there is an XP bonus. For catching Pokémon, you will receive double the amount of experience points. If you’re still on the path from level 41 to 50, you can take good advantage of the event.
Is there Shiny Trasla? Yes, in Pokémon GO you can find and catch Shiny Trasla. This is also possible outside of the Spotlight Hour. In the following graphic, we show you the shimmering family of Trasla compared to the normal form.
For whom is the Spotlight Hour today worthwhile? The Spotlight Hour today is very interesting for you. Because Gardevoir is an important attacker for raids, which we often mention in our counter guides. If you raid a lot, you should secure a few strong specimens of Trasla. For PvP players, Gallade could be interesting, as it performs well in the upper middle class in the Great and Ultra Leagues.
Alternatively, the event is worth it to gain XP and possible Shinies.
