In Pokémon GO, there is a spotlight hour with the Alolan Pokémon Peppeck today, on May 31, 2022. We at MeinMMO will show you when the event starts, whether there will be a shiny Peppeck and what bonus you can look forward to.
What event is it about? Every Tuesday, a so-called spotlight hour takes place in Pokémon GO. During this time, a specific monster is highlighted, which you can find everywhere.
Today, you will encounter the Alolan Pokémon Peppeck during the spotlight hour. It is of Normal and Flying types. To round off the event, you will also receive an XP bonus.
Spotlight Hour with Peppeck – Start, Bonuses & Shiny
When does the spotlight hour start? As every Tuesday, the spotlight hour starts today, on May 31, at 6:00 PM local time. The event will last for 60 minutes and will end at 7:00 PM.
What bonuses are there? Throughout the entire spotlight hour, you will encounter Peppeck everywhere in the wild. Additionally, you will receive double XP for catching Pokémon. Those who want to catch as many Peppeck as possible can use incense to attract additional specimens.
Is Peppeck available as shiny? No, unfortunately Peppeck is not yet available in its shiny form in the game.
Is the spotlight hour with Peppeck worth it?
How strong is it: Peppeck and its evolutions, Trompeck and Tukanon, are not particularly strong. Therefore, they are less interesting for use in raids and PvP battles.
For whom is the spotlight hour worthwhile? The spotlight hour is only worth it today because of the XP bonus when catching. If you still need a few XP on your way from level 41 to level 50, you have the opportunity to farm a few points today. If you also use a lucky egg, you can double your XP again for 30 minutes.
And trainers who still need Peppeck candies to evolve, to complete the collector challenge “Alola to Alola”, also have another chance today. However, those looking for a strong attacker or a shiny specimen will not find it here.
What do you think about the spotlight hour with Peppeck today? Will you participate? Or are you not interested in the event today and would rather focus on the spotlight hours in June 2022? Let us know in the comments.
