What event is it about? In Pokémon GO, there is a Spotlight Hour every Tuesday, where a predetermined Pokémon spawns everywhere in the wild for 60 minutes. The short event is enhanced by an additional bonus.

When does the Spotlight Hour start? Like every Tuesday, the Spotlight Hour will also take place today, April 30, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

The Fairy Pokémon is accompanied by a candy bonus. You will receive double the amount of candies for catching Pokémon. It doesn’t matter whether you catch Clefairy or another monster.
Is there Shiny Clefairy? Yes, Clefairy has already been available as shiny in the game for quite some time. With a bit of luck, you may encounter a shiny specimen during the Spotlight Hour. You can recognize it by its slightly brighter body and green ears.

Is the Spotlight Hour with Clefairy worth it? Clefairy itself is not particularly strong, and its evolution Clefable also has rather average stats in attack, defense, and stamina. Nevertheless, Clefable is among the best Fairy attackers in Pokémon GO. It only ranks 9th in our associated ranking.
