What event is it about? On February 24 and 25, the great Sinnoh Tour takes place in Pokémon GO. In addition to a lot of spawns, raids, and bonuses, you can also expect a number of new Shinys. A total of 12 will celebrate their global debut for this event and are available without purchasing a ticket.
We have summarized which new shiny monsters you can look forward to and where you can find them during the event in the following overview.
Update from February 24: On routes, White-line Barschuft can be found during the event, even as a Shiny with some luck.
All new Shinys for the Sinnoh Tour & their locations
Which Pokémon is it about? In Pokémon GO, you can find not only the normal forms of individual monsters, but some of them are also available as Shinys. They differ in color from their standard form and are relatively rare. For this reason, they are particularly sought after by most trainers.
During the Sinnoh Tour, you can catch all monsters from this region in their shiny form for the first time, which is why the following 12 are celebrating their global debut on this occasion:
- Pachirisu
- Klingplim
- Skunkapuh & Skuntank
- Plaudagei
- Venuflibis
- Dialga & Palkia in their primal form
- Hisui-Voltobal & Hisui-Lektrobal
- Hisui-Baldorfish & Myriador

Pachirisu
What kind of Pokémon is this? Pachirisu is a regional Pokémon of the Electric type that you can usually find only in Alaska and Canada, as well as previously in the Northeast of Russia. It has no pre-evolutions or further evolutions.
Where can you find it during the event? Pachirisu hides in the 10 km eggs during the Sinnoh Tour. To get it, you will have to hatch diligently. The Shiny has a white body with pink accents from the head to the tail.
By the way: If you can’t wait until the weekend or simply want to secure more chances, you can already catch Pachirisu and two other regional monsters as Shinys with a bit of luck.
Klingplim
What kind of Pokémon is this? While Palimpalim, the evolution of the baby Pokémon Klingplim, has been available as a Shiny in the game for a while, now it’s finally the Psychic Pokémon’s turn.
Where can you find it during the event? Klingplim hides with some other baby Pokémon in the 2 km eggs. So you will need some luck to secure a specimen. You recognize it by its yellow body and the yellow-white striped ribbons on its head.
Skunkapuh and Skuntank
What kind of Pokémon are these? Skunkapuh is a Poison- and Dark-type Pokémon that can evolve into Skuntank. Skuntank is relatively strong and is therefore one of the best Poison attackers in Pokémon GO.
Where can you find them during the event? Skunkapuh spawns during the event in the habitat Toxic Excavation Sites
. Thus, it can be found in the wild. It also hatches from 5 km eggs. The shiny form has a pink body. To secure Shiny Skuntank, you need to evolve your shiny Skunkapuh accordingly.
Plaudagei
What kind of Pokémon is this? Another regional Pokémon making its worldwide Shiny debut is Plaudagei. It actually comes from the southern hemisphere and belongs to the Normal and Flying types. It has no pre-evolutions or further evolutions.
Where can you find it during the event? Like Pachirisu, Plaudagei is available to all players in the 10 km eggs. You recognize it by its blue body and red wings.
Venuflibis
What kind of Pokémon is this? The third regional Pokémon celebrating its worldwide Shiny release during the Sinnoh Tour is Venuflibis. The Grass-type Pokémon has no pre-evolutions or further evolutions and is usually found in the southeastern USA.
Where can you find it during the event? Venuflibis will also be found in the 10 km eggs. In its shiny form, it has a slightly lighter body than its normal form. So be sure to look closely.
Primal forms of Dialga & Palkia
What kind of Pokémon are these? The Sinnoh Tour is all about time and space, which is why the legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia must not be missing. This time, their primal forms are also included for the first time. Like their normal forms, they have no pre-evolutions or further evolutions.
Where can you find them during the event? You will find the primal forms of Dialga and Palkia during the habitats Historic Grove
and Geothermal Lagoon
in Level 5 raids. You can recognize the shiny Dialga (primal form) by its turquoise body, while shiny Palkia (primal form) is pink. Additionally, the two monsters offer further bonuses for you.
Hisui-Voltobal and Hisui-Lektrobal
What kind of Pokémon are these? Hisui-Voltobal is the Hisui form of the Electric Pokémon Voltobal from the first generation. It belongs to the Electric and Plant types and can evolve into Hisui-Lektrobal.
Where can you find them during the event? You can encounter Hisui-Voltobal during the weekend in the habitat Historic Grove
or hatch it from 5 km eggs. In its shiny form, it has a charcoal and beige body. To secure Hisui-Lektrobal as shiny, you will need to evolve it accordingly.
Hisui-Baldorfish and Myriador
What kind of Pokémon are these? Another Hisui form is Hisui-Baldorfish. Unlike Baldorfish from the second generation of games, this Dark and Poison Pokémon can evolve into Myriador.
Where can you find them during the event? Hisui-Baldorfish is part of the habitat Geothermal Lagoon
and therefore spawns in the wild. Alternatively, you can also find it in the 5 km eggs. You recognize the shiny by its white and purple body. As with Hisui-Voltobal, you need to evolve it in order to obtain a shiny Myriador.
Other special Shinys for the Sinnoh Tour
In addition to the Pokémon that you can catch for the first time in their shiny form during the Sinnoh Tour, there are also a few other shiny monsters that you shouldn’t overlook:
Costumed Pikachu: For the Sinnoh Tour, Pikachu has once again dressed up and can be found in the wild wearing Lucius’ cap, Lucia’s hat, Lumius’ cap, and Lumia’s kerchief. With a bit of luck, you can also snag a shiny specimen here.
Icognito: The Psychic Pokémon from the second generation of games will also be present during the event weekend. You can find it in its forms H, I, N, O, and S when you activate incense. With some luck, you can also snag a shiny version of this one.
What about Rotom and Barschuft (White-line)? Both Pokémon celebrated their Shiny debut during the Sinnoh Tour in Los Angeles. They also play a role in the global Sinnoh Tour. While you can secure Rotom through research, Barschuft spawns on routes. Currently, however, only Barschuft (White-line) can be found as a Shiny with some luck.
