In Pokémon GO there is a new Rocket event. Sierra, Arlo, and Cliff also have new Pokémon with them. We took a look at which ones they are and which are particularly worth it.

The three Rocket bosses Sierra, Arlo, and Cliff have also received new Pokémon to battle against you during the event. We looked into which ones they are and whether they are worth it for you.
New Pokémon from Sierra

Is Shadow Treecko worth it? Treecko can evolve into Grovyle and then into Sceptile. Unfortunately, Sceptile in its Shadow variant is not particularly strong, so it is not well-suited for raids or battles in the battle leagues.
Shadow Treecko can also appear as Shiny, making it interesting for collectors among you.
New Pokémon from Arlo

Is Shadow Bouffalant worth it? Bouffalant, the evolution of Bouffalant, is unfortunately a relatively weak Pokémon. You should not plan to use this Pokémon for raids or battles in the battle leagues, and it would be better to take other Pokémon.
Shadow Bouffalant can also appear in its Shiny version, making it worthwhile for collectors.
New Pokémon from Cliff

After the battle against Cliff, you have the opportunity to catch his Shadow Machop and bring it into your possession. Before you battle Cliff, you should prepare well and include appropriate counter Pokémon for Cliff in your team.
Is Shadow Machop worth it? Machop can evolve into Machoke and then into Machamp. While Machamp itself is already a pretty strong Pokémon, its Shadow variant is even better. Shadow Machamp is a good Pokémon for the Super League and is among the best attackers in Pokémon GO of the Fighting type.
Of course, Shadow Machop can also appear as Shiny after you defeat Cliff.
If you want to include Shadow Machamp or another Shadow Pokémon in your team and use it for battles, you will need to remove the Charged Attack Frustration beforehand, which you can do in the current Rocket event.
