Currently, on the morning of September 26th, there are server issues with Pokémon GO. Google and PTC players are reporting disturbances.
The servers for the mobile hit “Pokémon GO” are currently presumably affected by an issue. Players are unable to log in or are permanently seeing the white Poké Ball in the game, which indicates that the game is “loading”.
This time, not only users with Pokémon Trainer Club accounts are affected, but also players with Google accounts.
Update 1:10 PM – The first players can slowly log in again
Update ~7:00 PM – There are still problems logging in.
Server Status? Connection could not be established
Complaints about the Pokémon GO servers have been increasing in the last few minutes on Reddit, Twitter, and Facebook. Apparently, there are issues preventing trainers from playing.
Trainers in several countries are affected. It seems to be a larger problem or a measure from Niantic that we currently have no information about. We refrain from speculation here to avoid raising false hopes.
There has been no feedback from official sources so far. As soon as Niantic has commented on the issues, we will update this article for you. In the meantime, we invite you to exchange ideas with other trainers in our Pokémon GO group on Facebook.
Update 11:41 AM – Niantic is aware of the issues:
