On Twitter, Pokémon GO released a short video. Trainers are now wondering what the new feature could be.
In the four-second video, only a red exclamation mark appears. Pokémon GO writes: “Hmm, what is this?”
The community immediately starts discussing. We will tell you what the mysterious video could be about.
Could it be PvP or Kecleon?
Right now, Reddit and Twitter are buzzing with discussions about the video. But what is behind this video? Trainers keep talking about the still-missing Pokémon Kecleon or the announced PvP feature.

Trainer vs Trainer battles? The first assumptions from the community are about PvP. Niantic announced that this feature will be released in Pokémon GO in 2018. The exclamation mark always appeared on the console when encountering an opposing trainer who wanted to battle.
Trainer brizvela (via reddit) connects the exclamation mark with PvP. He writes: “One can dream” and posts this picture.

On Twitter, the user “goechr_ ” wrote: “I remember that PvP was pushed to the end of the year. It must be this, right?”
Is PvP realistic? Definitely! Especially since Niantic announced PvP for this year. The year is coming to a close, and to bridge the cold winter months, a new feature would generate a lot of interest.
Could Kecleon be involved? The second hot assumption is about Kecleon. This Pokémon from generation 3 is still among the unreleased Pokémon. Its special ability is to blend in with the surroundings. It used to hide in tall grass in the console games. In the background of the exclamation mark, you can see tall grass. So, it could also be related to Kecleon.
On Reddit, the user “Dafnex” asked if it could be an invisible Kecleon? The user quickly received a lot of support.
Is Kecleon realistic? Kecleon is a Pokémon from generation 3. Meanwhile, we are deep into generation 4. So, it is time to release the last Pokémon from the previous generations. Also, Ninjatom surprisingly appeared in field research last month. Therefore, it is not out of the question that Kecleon will now be released.
Another image released: Alongside the video, Niantic also released an image on Twitter showing the exclamation mark and a bush. The speculation can continue.
Another image focuses on PvP: Another image shared by Niantic on Twitter shows a battle arena and a trainer. It’s becoming more likely that trainers will soon look forward to PvP.
Update: Pokémon GO has now officially announced PvP. You can find more information here.
What do you think of the theories behind the video? Do you think something big is coming our way?
