In Pokémon GO, you can soon meet Hisui-Silvarro. This will appear on the Raid Day, which also brings additional bonuses.
When is the Raid Day? The Raid Day with Hisui-Silvarro takes place on February 11, 2024, which is a Sunday. It runs from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.
What kind of Pokémon is this? The Hisui variant of Silvarro made its debut in the game “Pokémon Legends: Arceus”. It represents an alternative final evolution of Bauz and Arboretoss. Unlike the standard version of Silvarro, it has the types Grass and Fighting, instead of Grass and Ghost.
In Pokémon GO, it will currently only be available through raids, not by evolution. Accordingly, it will debut on a Raid Day.

How does the Raid Day with Hisui-Silvarro work?
These are the bonuses: Hisui-Silvarro will appear as a level 3 raid boss at most gyms in Pokémon GO during the event period. As a level 3 opponent, it should be possible to defeat the monster with two players or even alone if you have the right counters.
To participate, there will be up to five additional free raid passes from gyms and PokéStops during the event. You can collect the next one every time the last one is used. In addition, the remote raid limit will be increased to 20 on this day.
Can Hisui-Silvarro be shiny? Yes, the shiny variant will also be available directly. You even have an increased chance of encountering it in the raids.
Event Ticket: In general, you do not need a ticket for the event to use the bonuses mentioned above. However, there is an additional optional ticket in the shop for $5 (expected to be a similar Euro price here) to activate the following bonuses from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM on the event day:
- 8 additional raid passes from gyms and PokéStops
- 50% more XP for won raids
- Increased chance of XL candies from raids
- Double Stardust from raids
Is the Raid Day with Hisui-Silvarro worth it?
In general, raid days are always good events because you can get free passes and thus do not have to purchase extra passes to participate. Raids are generally a good option to collect XP and provide rewards aside from the monster.
However, Hisui-Silvarro is likely to be of interest to many. Especially for collectors, this is an important date, as it not only offers the chance for a new Pokédex entry but also a good opportunity to obtain a new shiny for the collection.
In terms of combat, it remains to be seen how strong Hisui-Silvarro will be. It is still unclear which moves it will have.
