The “Profound Depths” are coming to Pokémon GO. We will show you what to expect at the event.
When does the event take place? The “Profound Depths” event starts on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM and ends on Monday, March 24, 2025, at 8:00 PM.
In addition to a Pokémon debut and an increased shiny chance, there are several other monsters waiting for you, as well as an interesting bonus.

Which Pokémon is making its debut? With the start of the event, you can first find Kleptifux and add it to your collection. This Dark-type Pokémon is from the 8th generation and can evolve into Gaunux.
You can hatch the Pokémon from 7 km eggs during the event and, with a little luck, find it in the wild.
Which monster has an increased shiny chance? Scampisto can appear in the event with an increased chance in its shiny variant. You can also find this monster in 7 km eggs and in the wild.
What bonus is active during the event? In addition to the increased chance for shiny Scampisto, you only need half the usual distance to hatch eggs during the event. This effect is only active if you have placed the corresponding egg into an incubator during the event.
Which monsters are in the wild? If you encounter Pokémon in the wild, you can come across the following specimens:
- Kramurx*
- Sniebel*
- Krebscorps*
- Perlu*
- Felilou*
- Quabbel (female)*
- Scampisto*
- Kleptifux (rare)
All Pokémon marked with a * can also be found as shiny.
What Pokémon are in eggs? If you hatch 7 km eggs during the event, you can obtain the following Pokémon:
- Galar-Corasonn*
- Gladiantri*
- Scampisto*
- Kleptifux
Pokémon that have a * can also be hatched in their shiny form.
Free limited research: At the start of the event, you will also receive a free limited research. Here, the rewards include 10 Dakuma candies, a mysterious part, and encounters with event Pokémon. Once you have completed the research, you will also receive double stardust when catching Pokémon until the end of the event.
