In Pokémon GO there have been rare Galar birds since the release of the daily adventure incense. A trainer has recently come across a particularly rare specimen.
A trainer from Canada encountered one of the rare Galar birds, a Galar Zapdos, while using his daily adventure incense and was able to catch it. What he noticed after catching it: This Zapdos is a very special Zapdos.
Why is this Zapdos so bad? The IV values of this Pokémon are what makes this catch, in addition to the rarity of the Pokémon, so special. They are 0 Attack, 0 Defense, and 0 Stamina. And that is actually something special.
A very rare specimen
What makes it so rare? If a Pokémon is obtained through a raid, a field research, or a trade, there is a minimum of IV values that this Pokémon possesses. A Pokémon with a value of 0 in all three IV areas can only be obtained through a catch.
In addition to this limitation, the Galar Zapdos is one of the three rare Galar birds. These can currently only be obtained by using the daily adventure incense and corresponding activity.
Moreover, these Pokémon have a low spawn rate. As if that weren’t enough, they also have a very low catch rate combined with a very high flee rate. These circumstances make catching a Galar bird particularly difficult and rare.
“Shero > Hundo”
What do the trainers say about it? The reactions on Reddit correspond to the rarity of the Pokémon. So writes the lucky owner of the Pokémon, that they will be “best friends”. Another user writes that in his eyes the comparison “Shero > Hundo” applies.
A “Hundo” refers to a Pokémon that has the maximum values of 15/15/15. A “Shero” refers to a Pokémon with the values 0/0/0.
