Niantic recently announced the “Sinnoh Tour” for Pokémon GO. In the process, another piece of information was accidentally revealed.
What is the Sinnoh Tour? The Sinnoh Tour is part of the new Season “Timeless Journeys” in Pokémon GO, which starts this Friday. You can find the highlights of the new season launch here.
During the announcement of the tour in Niantic’s blog, another piece of information was accidentally published. This concerns the primal forms of Dialga and Palkia.
More specific information about primal forms still unknown
What exactly is known about the primal forms so far? So far, nothing has been revealed about the forms other than their appearance as a title image in Niantic’s blog. Although this image was quickly replaced by Niantic, it was spotted, saved, and posted on Reddit by quick users.
Currently, we do not know when exactly the primal forms for Dialga and Palkia will be released in Pokémon GO or how to obtain them.
It is expected that more information about the two primal forms will be released by the start of the Sinnoh Tour in February.
Placeholder image in blog post shows primal forms
How were these pieces of information published? Interestingly, it is the way in which this information was published. Niantic released an image as a title image that shows the primal forms of Dialga and Palkia. The abbreviation “FPO” can be found at the bottom corner of the image.
What does FPO mean? The abbreviation FPO in the image translates in graphic design terms as “for placement only” and is used for graphics that serve as placeholders.
What about you? Are you looking forward to Dialga and Palkia in their primal forms? Unfortunately, there is still a bit of time until the Sinnoh Tour kicks off in February. Luckily, we can bridge this with the Pokémon GO events in December for now.
