High Voltage in Pokémon GO – Everything about Spawns, Shinys, Raid Bosses, and Eggs
Who are the new Shinys? The new shiny Pokémon will mainly interest collectors. They are:
- Shiny Eguana. It can be found in the wild, level 1 raids, eggs, and research if you’re lucky. It evolves into Elezard and appeared for the first time in Pokémon GO in January 2022.

- Shiny Kapu-Riki. The legendary boss returns to raids and can also be found shiny during the High Voltage event.
Especially the shiny variant could make Kapu-Riki interesting for trainers. In raids, it is just among the best electric attackers in Pokémon GO, but there are also some stronger alternatives.
We will show you which Pokémon will also appear in the event.
