Which box is it about? In the in-game shop of Pokémon GO, you have the opportunity to buy certain items using PokéCoins. Regularly, various boxes are also provided to you that contain multiple items and are comparatively cheaper.
Right before the great Sinnoh Tour, the highlight of the current season Timeless Travels
, various offers can be found again, with one box standing out in particular: the Hyper Raid Box. How much it costs and for whom it is worth it, we have summarized for you below.
The Strength of the Hyper Raid Box
How much is the box? You can get the Hyper Box for 2,750 coins in your in-game shop for the whole week. It can be purchased up to three times, and for each purchase, you will receive the following items:
- 50 Premium Battle Passes
- 10 Max Revives
Is it worth it? For trainers who regularly need premium battle passes for raids on-site or for the GO Battle League, this offer is really strong. Normally, raid passes cost 100 coins each. With this offer, you only pay 55 coins per pass.
On top of that, you get 10 Max Revives, which help your monsters become battle-ready again quickly after a fight. Especially during the global Sinnoh Tour, taking place this weekend, you will need a lot for the raids against Dialga and Palkia, as well as their primal forms.
How strong the current offer is compared to past raid pass boxes is also shown by the Reddit post from user Montressi. As he illustrates in his graphic, the Hyper Raid Box is one of the best offers in recent years.
Are there any other boxes that are currently worth it?
Which boxes are interesting? If you prefer to hatch eggs and therefore need plenty of incubators, you will also find them in the in-game shop. There you can find two boxes that provide you with incubators and super incubators.
Hatching Box: You can get this up to three times for 2,950 coins each and receive:
- 15 Incubators
- 15 Super Incubators
Super Adventure Box: This box costs you 7,000 coins and can only be purchased once:
- 50 Incubators
- 50 Super Incubators
Are the boxes worth it? With both boxes, you can save a good amount of money compared to the regular prices.
- Normally, you would have to pay 150 coins for incubators and even 200 coins for super incubators.
- In the hatching box, this results in an average price of 98 coins per incubator.
- In the super adventure box, it is even just 70 coins per item.
