In Pokémon GO three live events for the GO Fest 2022 will take place in the coming weeks, including in Berlin. You will be able to encounter more Ultra Beasts. We from MeinMMO will show you where to find which monster.
What kind of event is it? In early June, the big GO Fest 2022 took place in Pokémon GO, where you could participate from anywhere in the world. Now there will also be three live events in Berlin, Seattle, and Sapporo.
In addition to numerous spawns and bonuses, which ticket holders will enjoy on site, Niantic has now also announced new Ultra Beasts and other features. We will show you where to encounter which beast and what else to expect at the live event in Berlin.
What are Ultra Beasts? Ultra Beasts are mysterious Pokémon. They originate from another dimension and come into the known world of Pokémon GO through Ultra Wormholes.
When does the GO Fest take place in Berlin? The GO Fest in Berlin will take place over the weekend from July 1 to July 3 in Britzer Garten. To participate, you can purchase a ticket for one of the event days.
Ultra Beast Schabelle at the GO Fest in Berlin
At the big GO Fest 2022, you had the opportunity to catch an Ultra Beast in Pokémon GO. Anego celebrated its debut in the special research on Sunday and in the Level 5 raids. Now Niantic is giving you another chance at more of these special monsters.
During the live events for GO Fest 2022, there will be three different Ultra Beasts, one for each location. You can encounter the following:
- Schabelle in Berlin
- Masskito in Seattle
- Voltriant in Sapporo

Can you get the Ultra Beasts without a ticket? For now, the three Ultra Beasts will only be available at the live events, and thus only for ticket holders. However, Niantic has already announced that they will become available for all players during the Season of GO.
How do you catch the Ultra Beasts? According to current information, the Ultra Beasts are to be caught using a special ball from the special research. Whether there will be other ways to secure specimens is not yet known.
What is this special ball? As a recent find by the Pokéminers has already shown, a new ball has been included in the game code. This Ultra Ball is designed to catch Ultra Beasts.
As confirmed by Pokémon GO in their blog, this will be made accessible to attendees of the live events for the first time. Thus, they will be able to catch the respective Ultra Beast with the Ultra Ball within the framework of a special research.
What kind of monster is Schabelle?
Schabelle is an Ultra Beast from the 7th generation of games, belonging to the Bug and Fighting types. You can recognize Schabelle by its white, long, slender body and the long antennae. It does not have a pre-evolution or evolution.
You can encounter this Ultra Beast for the first time during the GO Fest in Berlin in Pokémon GO. However, a shiny version will not be available for capture for the time being.
More spawns and bonuses for the live events for GO Fest
The encounters with the new Ultra Beasts are not expected to be the only highlight of the GO Fest. During the live events, you can also look forward to additional bonuses and cool Pokémon, which may even be shiny with a bit of luck.
Wild spawns: In addition to the already known spawns for the GO Fest in Berlin, you can expect the following Pokémon in the wild:
- Snorlax with cowboy hat
- Unown A, B, E, L, R, S, T, U
