In Pokémon GO there is now an update for the Pokémon Box. You can now expand the storage if you invest enough PokéCoins.
How big is the Pokémon Box? You can now expand it to up to 4000 slots. The maximum was previously 3500, which was not enough for many trainers. Thus, the expansion now comes.
The expansion comes at a perfect time, as the release of Generation 6 is approaching. New Pokémon will appear, taking up more space in your box.

How can I expand my box? You need to go to the shop and can buy an upgrade under “Pokémon Storage”. 50 additional slots in the box cost 200 coins. So if you calculate it, you need to spend 2000 coins for 500 new slots – that is nearly 20 euros.
That’s why it’s a good time: On December 2nd at 10:00 AM local time, Generation 6 will be rolled out and an event will start. You will be able to catch about 20 new monsters. This means your Pokémon box will be fuller again, and that is exactly what such an expansion is ideal for.
You should consider this: An investment in the expansion is only worthwhile if you really have no more space in the box. So first sort out properly and see how much space is left. If you already have 500 slots free, you don’t need to buy another 500 slots.
