Which monster is it? After Niantic already released the first Ultra Beast Anego in Pokémon GO for the global GO Fest in early June, another one follows for the GO Fest in Berlin. Ticket holders can look forward to an encounter with Schabelle.
We have summarized all important information about the new Ultra Beast for you and show you how strong it will be.
Ultra Beasts are a different form of monsters, namely mysterious Pokémon. They come from an Ultra Dimension and reach the world of Pokémon GO through Ultra Wormholes.

What kind of Pokémon is Schabelle? Schabelle is a so-called Ultra Beast. It comes from the 7th generation of games and is of Bug and Fighting type. Schabelle has no pre-evolution or further evolution.
How strong is Schabelle
According to current information, Schabelle will be very strong. It can particularly shine with an enormous attack value. Its defense and stamina are significantly worse, so it cannot withstand much in battle. The following values will the Pokémon according to Gamepress likely have:
- Attack: 316
- Defense: 85
- Stamina: 174
What attacks does it use? In terms of attacks, it can utilize both pure Bug and Fighting movesets. This gives the Ultra Beast a huge advantage as it can effectively fight with both fast and charged attacks. It is expected to utilize the following moves:
- Fast Attacks:
- Bug Bite (Bug type)
- Low Kick (Fighting type)
- Charged Attacks:
- Bug Buzz (Bug type)
- Struggle Bug (Bug type)
- Focus Blast (Fighting type)
- Dynamic Punch (Fighting type)
Where can you use Schabelle? Due to its high attack values and lower defense and stamina, the Pokémon is especially suitable for use in raids.
With Bug Bite and Bug Buzz, it has a really strong Bug moveset. Due to its enormous attack value, it also significantly outperforms Genesect, the top Bug attacker, which is why it will become one of the best Bug attackers in the game.
Similarly, it is with the Fighting type. Here too, it can give Lucario, the best Fighting attacker, real competition with its high attack value. However, Schabelle’s Fighting moveset is somewhat weaker.
With Low Kick, it has a fast fast attack, but it takes a long time to charge Focus Blast. This is a significant disadvantage because the Ultra Beast, due to its poorer stamina and defense values, cannot withstand much in battle. Nevertheless, Schabelle can make it under the top 10 Fighting attackers in Pokémon GO.
Appearance, Shiny and Location of Schabelle
This is what Schabelle looks like: Schabelle has a distinctive, large, slender, white body. Additionally, it has long veil-like, floor-length hair and two long hanging feelers on the sides of its head that resemble an insect.
Can you catch Shiny Schabelle? No, the shiny form of Schabelle will not be available to catch in the game for now. If it becomes available in the game someday, you will recognize it by its black body.
How can you get Schabelle? The Ultra Beast will celebrate its debut in the game during the GO Fest in Berlin. During the live event, from July 1 to 3, 2022, it will be available for ticket holders through a special research.
As Niantic has announced, during the Season of GO, all other trainers will also have the opportunity to encounter Schabelle. However, when exactly this will be, has not yet been officially announced and will remain to be seen for now.
