Catching monsters is the biggest activity in Pokémon GO. We asked you how many Pokémon you have caught since the release 3 years ago. These are the results.
This survey is about: A few days ago, you should have voted: How many Pokémon have you caught in total? We provided various options and you responded in large numbers.
Between a maximum of 5000 Pokémon and over 200,000 monsters, everything was included.
You are so diligent in catching Pokémon
These are the results: Approximately 3000 people participated in the survey and voted diligently. The following results came out:
- 0-5,000: 525
- 5,001-10,000: 418
- 10,001-25,000: 499
- 25,001-50,000: 479
- 50,001-100,000: 425
- 100,001-150,000: 260
- 150,001-200,000: 144
- 200,001+: 95
Most players have caught fewer than 25,000 Pokémon. Only a small portion of 249 players have caught over 150,000 Pokémon and probably reached the maximum level 40 multiple times.
How much Stardust does that bring? A precise number cannot be given. However, each caught Pokémon brings at least 100 Stardust. A minimum number can thus be provided:
- If you have caught 5000 Pokémon, you have accumulated a total of 500,000 Stardust.
- For 50,000 caught Pokémon, you have at least 5 million Stardust.
- Players who have caught 200,000 Pokémon or more must have at least 20 million Stardust.
Every player has certainly spent some Stardust, but with at least 20 million Stardust, one could have built a solid team.
The actual amount of maximum Stardust has likely increased significantly as well. For example, you can use a Star Piece to receive 1.5 times the amount of dust for half an hour. Also, evolutions or Pokémon with weather boost provide more Stardust.
It can get even more extreme: While only 95 of our readers have caught over 200,000 Pokémon, a Japanese player eclipses even this goal. He has caught over 1 million Pokémon in total and is thus the first player to reach this milestone.
