As usual, there will be a Community Day waiting for you in October. This time the focus is on Monozyto, the Psychic Pokémon from Generation 5. It can evolve into Mitodos and then into Zytomega.

Community Day in October 2025 with Monozyto – Start & Event Bonuses
When? Sunday, October 12, 2025 – From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Who will benefit from the Community Day with Monozyto?
For collectors: If you are missing Monozyto and its evolutions in their Shiny forms, then the Community Day is the perfect opportunity to fill these gaps.
For fighters: Monozyto and its evolutions are not suitable for fighting. They are not among the best attackers in Pokémon GO. In the various battle leagues, you should also rely on different Pokémon.
The perfect preparation for the Community Day in October 2025
Clean up your Pokémon Box: If you want to catch as many Monozyto as possible, you should create enough space in your Pokémon Box. This ensures that you don’t have to constantly send Pokémon during the event. If it is still necessary, there is a simple trick to sort Pokémon faster.
Collect items: Make sure to gather enough items before the event begins. Especially the following items should not be missing to make the most of the event:
- Balls: Collect enough balls by visiting PokéStops and Gyms.
- Nanab Berries: By using Nanab Berries and Silver Nanab Berries, you can increase the already doubled amount of candies you receive when catching.
- Incense: If you activate an incense during the Community Days, it lasts for 3 hours and can attract many more Monozyto.
- Lure Module: Even though the duration of the lure module has been reduced to 1 hour, the item can still give you more encounters with Monozyto. For the first time, this bonus even lasts up to 4 hours after the end of the event.
Which Mega Pokémon are worth it for the event? If you have the appropriate Mega Evolution of the Psychic type active during the event, you can earn extra experience points and candies for every catch. The following Mega Evolutions are suitable:
