The Community Day with Litwick spans a total of 3 event hours. Except for the trading bonuses and the exclusive move, which remain active for 5 hours after the event, all other bonuses will only be usable during the event period.
Special Raid Battles: As you probably already know from previous Community Days, there will also be special level-4 raids following the C-Day with Litwick. You can battle Lampent, the first evolution of Litwick, in these raids.
If you defeat the Ghost- and Fire-type Pokémon, you will receive additional Litwick spawns for 30 minutes within a 300-meter radius around the gym, where the shiny chance is also increased. However, be aware that you can only participate in the raids on-site, so it is not possible to invite friends from other regions via remote raid.

How to make the most of the Community Day with Litwick
Make these preparations: The Community Day with Litwick is one of the events that many trainers have been looking forward to for some time. Therefore, you should make the most of the event period and not waste time sorting your Pokémon or item bag.
It’s best to clear out enough space in your Pokémon storage beforehand. This can be done quickly by using the filter functions in Pokémon GO. By entering “0*,1*,2*”, you can directly see all monsters with a rating of 2 stars or less.
If you need to sort again during the event, you can supplement the search function with “Older0” and only get shown monsters that are not older than 24 hours.
Additionally, you should also make space in your item bag and stock up on the essential items. We have summarized what is useful below.
The essential items for the Community Day with Litwick
Balls: As with every event, you should not run out of enough balls during the Community Day. Without them, you cannot secure Litwick. If you plan to play all day, you should have at least 200 balls in your item bag to avoid running out of stock.
So stock up accordingly now. Especially Ultra Balls should not be missing from your collection, as Litwick cannot easily escape from them.

Incense & Lures: Two other essential items during the Community Day are incense and lures. These will bring you more specimens. During the event, they last for 3 hours. One each should be enough to cover the event duration. If you want to supply multiple PokéStops with lures, you will need accordingly more.
Razz Berries: Since Litwick has a strong evolution that can learn a new event move, it’s worth collecting as many Litwick candies as possible. If you want to significantly improve your stock, use Razz Berries when catching.
Lucky Egg: Since you will receive triple XP when catching during the Community Day, it is worthwhile to use Lucky Eggs. These double all XP you earn in 30 minutes. Therefore, it makes sense to connect a Lucky Egg with your friendship level increases.
Most trainers open their gifts right at the start of the event. However, it’s best to coordinate with them. Pay attention to the labels of the buddy Pokémon. Some players indicate when they will open their packages.
Unova Stones: If you want to evolve many Chandelure, you should also have a few Unova Stones with you on this day. You will need them to complete the evolution. So don’t sort this item out beforehand.
