The first trainer in the world has reached Level 50 in Pokémon GO. We show you the player’s stats and reveal how he achieved it so quickly.
Which player achieved this? The first trainer to reach Level 50 is FleeceKing from Australia. He achieved the new maximum level in Pokémon GO yesterday evening around 5:00 PM German time.
Shortly after, the Australian Laurenlolly also reached Level 50.
1st Player at Level 50 – How is it done so quickly?
These advantages the trainer had: FleeceKing had two advantages that brought him this success:
- He is from Australia, allowing him to reach Level 48 as one of the first regions in the world – this gave him a head start of several hours.
- Shortly after, the Australians were affected by a bug that allowed Niantic to let them skip directly to Level 49 – They only had to complete the tasks for Level 50.
Especially this bug gave Australians the opportunity to reach the goal particularly quickly and ahead of the rest of the world. While players from America and Europe were still stuck on the tasks for Level 49, the affected Australians could level up directly for Level 50.
Who is FleeceKing anyway? The player is from Sydney and has already caught nearly 800,000 Pokémon. He has accumulated nearly 700 million XP and is no stranger in the scene.
He is among the best players from the Asia-Pacific region, even if he hasn’t been at the very top yet. Nevertheless, he has now secured the title of the first player at Level 50.
How are the German players doing? They are still stuck at Level 49. To reach it, one must send a total of 500 gifts. However, one can only send 100 gifts per day. So they will need a few more days to reach Level 49. The tasks for Level 50 should then be completed within a few hours.
