Slowpoke evolution at the C-Day with a special feature
What to expect: During the Community Day in March, Slowpoke and Galar-Slowpoke will spawn significantly more often. If you evolve them during the event or up to five hours afterward, Slowbro, Galar-Slowbro, Lickilicky or Galar-Lickilicky will learn the charge move Surf.
If you want to evolve Galar-Slowpoke into Galar-Slowbro, there is one change. Normally, you need to use your Galar-Slowpoke as a buddy and then catch 30 Poison-type Pokémon. Due to the change, you need to catch 30 Psychic-type Pokémon with Galar-Slowpoke as your buddy. This is considerably easier during the event, as you will find Psychic-type Pokémon in the wild everywhere.
How long is the change active? The requirement to catch Psychic instead of Poison-type Pokémon counts from the beginning of the Community Day at 2:00 PM and is active until 10:00 PM. After that, you must, as usual, catch Poison-type Pokémon for the evolutions.
With this temporary change during the event, it should be significantly easier for you to carry out many evolutions. This way, you can meet the requirements for the evolutions while simply playing the event.
