How to evolve Spritzee in Pokémon GO? We show you everything you need to know about the evolution of the Gen 6 Pokémon.
What is it about? Since May 2021, you can find new Pokémon from the Kalos region in Pokémon GO. This is the home of the monsters from Generation 6. In this wave of new Pokémon, Spritzee was also included. However, evolving it poses challenges for some trainers.
We will show you here how to evolve Spritzee and what you need to consider.
Spritzee evolution to Aromatisse requires 25 candies
This is the problem: If you want to evolve Spritzee like any other Pokémon using the “Evolve” button, you will receive the error “Complete a challenge with this buddy”. And the text below says “Go on adventures together to trigger the evolution.” You can expand this text to find out what the requirements are.
This is what you need to do:
- Set Spritzee as your buddy
- Feed the buddy Spritzee 25 candies (berries)
- Now it is ready for evolution to Aromatisse
- You need 50 Spritzee candies
Tip: To switch your buddy, press the small photo of your buddy on the main screen and scroll all the way down. There you will find the button “Change buddy”.
How to evolve Flabébé?
This is new: Flabébé came to Pokémon GO along with Spritzee. The evolution process for Flabébé is also different than what you would expect from “normal” Pokémon.
To evolve Flabébé, you need to have enough candies, make it your buddy, and then light a incense. Once these preparations are done, you can evolve it.
There is a trick that allows you to evolve Flabébé in Pokémon GO without using incense.
