Pokémon GO has confirmed the move for the Community Day in March. This way, Sceptile can learn the move Flora Statue during the event. We’ll tell you whether the attack is worth it.
When does Sceptile learn the move? This move is exclusive to the Community Day on March 23. It’s all about the Grass starter Treecko. Its evolution, Sceptile, will learn this move within a 4-hour period.
Is it worth it? Sceptile with Flora Statue will be a very strong Grass attacker. A detailed analysis is provided in this article.
Sceptile with Flora Statue will be that good
How strong is Flora Statue? This move has already made Venusaur one of the best Grass attackers. Sceptile will actually be even better in terms of damage.
If we look at the DPS value, that is, damage per second, Sceptile ranks at the top. The table also shows Pokémon that have not yet been released. Based on the released Pokémon, Sceptile is in 2nd place.

This is the downside: It’s not due to the move, but Sceptile takes very little damage. It will likely be more of a glass cannon.
Is the move worth it? Having a Sceptile with Flora Statue on your team is definitely a good idea. It is the second-best Grass attacker and if you have enough revives, you will definitely have fun with Sceptile.

How do I get the move? Sceptile learns Flora Statue only through evolution. You need to evolve a Grovyle into Sceptile on Saturday between 3 PM and 7 PM. Only then will it learn Flora Statue. TMs will not help here.
While the Community Day is taking place, there will also be the Plant Event. Especially the quests are amazing:
