The Community Day in Pokémon GO has been taking place at the same time for months. Now Niantic has changed the event times. Vote on how you felt about it!
What’s new about the times: The Community Day has been held every Saturday between 11 AM and 2 PM for months. Now Niantic has made some changes, as the event in March started at 3 PM and ran until 6 PM.
The change in times sparked much discussion, and on Reddit the new times were often received positively. But how do you see it? Participate in our survey and vote on which time you preferred.
This is how the new times were received
This is what players say: Players from around the world report on the new event times. Players are pleased that there is now a uniform event time everywhere.
Previously, it was different from region to region. For example, the Community Day in Brazil used to run from 5 PM to 8 PM. Now the times are uniform everywhere, and that is well-received.
These are the voices: We have gathered some positive and negative feedback on Reddit :
- Asriel52: As someone who works in retail, 3 PM-6 PM was much better for me, I love it!
- wannabedragonmother: I like the new time frame because I could sleep in, but I am satisfied with any time frame. I saw more people today, but maybe it was just my region.
- WiIIiam_M_: I am so glad! In Hawaii, the Community Day usually started at 8 AM. Now I could sleep in!
- Hanter763: I didn’t like the new time very much. I usually had things to do after the event, but that’s no longer possible with the new times.
- Emasst: I work evenings on weekends. So I couldn’t play the event until the end. The old times were better.
