The next Community Day in Pokémon GO is confirmed: Togetic will be the event monster in April 2023. We will show you all the content and bonuses.
This is the Community Day: Pokémon GO regularly hosts Community Days that take place once a month. During this event, one monster is always in the spotlight.
This Pokémon can be found significantly more often in the wild. Additionally, it gets a special move when evolving and can be found much easier as Shiny.
Moreover, each Community Day brings one or more bonuses that complement the event. Now the team behind Pokémon GO has officially confirmed: The next Community Day will revolve around Togetic (via pokemongolive.com).
Community Day in April 2023 with Togetic – Date, Bonuses, Info
When does the Community Day take place? The Community Day with Togetic will take place on Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.
Can Togetic be Shiny? Yes, you can encounter Togetic in the wild as Shiny. Moreover, you can hatch more Togepi from 2 km eggs during the event, which will have an increased Shiny rate.
The last evolution, Togekiss, is very interesting as one of the best Fairy attackers in Pokémon GO.
Exclusive move: If you evolve Togetic to Togekiss during the event or up to five hours afterward, it will learn the move “Aurasphere”.
The move of type “Fighting” does:
- 100 damage in trainer battles
- 90 damage in gym and raid battles
Additionally, you will receive more bonuses during the event.
What bonuses does the Community Day bring? During the event, the following bonuses will be active:
- Double candies when catching
- Four times hatching speed for your incubators
- Double chance for XL candies when catching if you are over level 31
- Incense and lure modules last 3 hours when activated during the event
- Snapshot surprise
- An additional special trade – so two a day
- Increased hatching chance for Togepi from 2 km eggs, also increased Shiny rate
- A limited research with up to five Sinnoh stones as a reward
Furthermore, as usual, there will be a special research in the shop for just under one euro, which will bring you a few items and encounters related to Togetic.
After the event, there will also be special 4-star raids against Togetic, which can only be completed on-site. If you defeat them, additional Togetic will appear in the arena’s vicinity for 30 minutes, which also have an increased Shiny rate.
