February brings some new Pokémon to Pokémon GO. We summarize the most important debuts here.
What is this list about? In this list, you will learn which new Pokémon you can catch in February 2024. We will show you when they appear in the game and what they are all about. The list is ordered by release date.
The debuts are usually tied to specific events. You can find more information about the respective events in the links.
February still belongs to the “Timeless Journeys” season, which ends in March:
Sen-Long
When does Sen-Long appear? The Dragon Pokémon appears at the “Lunar New Year: Unleashed Dragons” event. It starts on February 5, 2024, and ends on February 11.
Sen-Long comes from the 7th generation of the game and provides a type combination of “Normal” and “Dragon”. A cool bonus: Its shiny version will appear right alongside it in the game.
You will encounter Sen-Long in 3-star raids and in field research. In terms of strength: As a raid attacker, it is likely to be surpassed by the other top attackers in Pokémon GO. However, in PvP, it could become a good option for the Great League and Ultra League.
Hisui-Silvarro
When does Hisui-Silvarro appear? The Pokémon makes its debut on February 11, 2024, during its own raid day. You can encounter it in stage-3 raids.
Hisui-Silvarro also brings its shiny form directly with it, which you can encounter with luck. The Pokémon is expected to have its strength mainly in the battle league, less so in raids.
It is especially worth catching it for the Pokédex entry and the chance to get a shiny for your own collection.
Cupidos
The Cupidos debut was shared via the official channel of Pokémon GO Germany (via X.com). There you can also see a picture of it:
When does Cupidos appear? Cupidos will appear on February 14 in the form of top raids. There are four time windows:
- 12:00 to 1:00 PM
- 1:00 to 2:00 PM
- 5:00 to 6:00 PM
- 6:00 to 7:00 PM
The release time upset some trainers, but the Pokémon itself could be exciting. Its moves are not known yet, but the combination of fairy and flying in the legendary Pokémon has the potential to make it interesting in raids and PvP. However, it remains to be seen what moves it ultimately gets.
Ur-Dialga

When does Ur-Dialga appear? You can get it in raids when the global Sinnoh tour takes place on February 24 and 25. A week earlier, it will debut at the local Sinnoh tour in Los Angeles, but you need a ticket and have to be on-site.
The primal form of Dialga represents a more powerful version of the legendary Pokémon, which made its debut in the game “Pokémon Legends: Arceus”. Dialga is known in Pokémon history as the ruler of time and will bring the move “Roar of Time”.
Ur-Dialga will not only certainly be a powerful attacker, but it also brings a special effect: Roar of Time can be used outside of battles for 5,000 Stardust and 5 Dialga candy to pause the item timer of some items for six minutes. These include:
- Incense
- Daily adventure incense
- Lucky Eggs
- Star Pieces
The effect can be stacked up to 24 hours, but will then require many resources.
Nonetheless: An interesting feature that makes Ur-Dialga unique in the game.
Ur-Palkia

When does Ur-Palkia appear? It appears alongside Ur-Dialga during the global Sinnoh tour on February 24 and 25. There is also an early debut at the local Sinnoh tour in Los Angeles on February 17 and 18, but with the same restrictions.
Ur-Palkia also first appeared in “Pokémon Legends: Arceus” as a more powerful, original form of the legendary Pokémon Palkia. Here, you also get a powerful attacker that comes with a special attack: the “Spatial Rend”.
Outside of battles, you can use “Spatial Rend” for 5,000 Stardust and five Palkia candies to increase your encounter radius with Pokémon for ten minutes. Here, too, you can stack the effect.
Bonus: Which Pokémon will be exciting?
Apart from the Pokémon debuts, there are other monsters in February that may be of interest to you.
Chansey, for example, has its own community day on February 4, 2024. This is particularly useful as an arena defender. It may be worth catching a few specimens during the community day.
Another exciting date is the “The Road to Sinnoh” event. Because you can encounter several legendary Pokémon that change from day to day:
- Darkrai
- Cresselia
- Mesprit, Uxie, and Azelf (differ by region, Mesprit in Europe)
- Heatran
- Giratina in its primal form
The monsters except Mesprit, Uxie, and Azelf will also have their own raid hours, during which they will have their special attacks. Additionally, you can try to get Uxie and Azelf through remote raids.
