The next legendary 5-star Dynamax monster has been announced. This one comes from a popular trio in the Pokémon world and will require you to prepare accordingly if you want to successfully defeat it.

What kind of Pokémon is it? The next Dyna weekend will bring Entei in its Dynamax form into play for the first time. This legendary Pokémon from the 2nd generation is of the fire type. Another monster from the trio, Raikou, has already celebrated its Dynamax debut in Pokémon GO in the past.
When can Entei be challenged? You can challenge Dynamax Entei for the first time during a Dyna battle weekend. This will take place from Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 06:00 to Sunday, April 27, 2025, at 21:00.
During this time, you can challenge Entei in 5-star Dynamax raids. If you successfully defeat it, you can then catch it and add it to your collection.
What bonuses are there during the event? The following bonuses will be active in the game during the event:
- The collection limit for Dyna particles will be raised to 1,600
- You will only need 1/4 of the walking distance to receive Dyna particles
- 8 times as many Dyna particles from energy sources
- Energy sources will renew more frequently
- Unlocking and increasing Dyna attacks will cost only 75% of the actual costs (active starting Monday, April 21 at 06:00)
Additionally, starting Monday, April 21, 2025, at 06:00, a free, limited research will be unlocked. Completing it will allow you to catch a Dynamax Memmeon. The research will also reward you with Memmeon candies and Dyna particles.
How difficult will the battle be? To successfully defeat Entei, you will need to battle with several trainers. Entei is a legendary Pokémon and has correspondingly strong attack and defense values. All trainers should have strong Pokémon that are appropriately leveled and have boosted Dyna attacks.
Make sure your Pokémon have a type advantage against Entei and ensure that the role distributions among all trainers are clear. You will need strong tanks like Heitera to charge your Dyna meter and strong attackers to deal significant damage to Entei.
Good preparation, role distribution, and communication are key to defeating the legendary monster.
