In Pokémon GO can Mega Evolutions not only deal a lot of damage, but also bring candy and attack bonuses. Here you will find all Mega Evolutions at a glance.
This is what makes Mega Evolutions: Various Pokémon can undergo Mega Evolution. To do this, they need “Mega Energy”.
You get this Mega Energy by defeating the monster in the corresponding Mega Raids. The faster and more effectively you complete the raid, the more energy you get.
Accordingly, you should attack it with many trainers when you want to face a Mega Pokémon – because they can take quite a bit. The Mega Pokémon rotate in Mega Raids, similar to the legendary level 5 bosses.
The Mega Evolution only lasts temporarily for 8 hours before the monster transforms back. Since the update on Mega Evolutions in spring 2022, the monsters have become somewhat more accessible.
Because with each Mega Evolution, their “Mega Level” increases and the possibility was introduced to unlock already developed Mega Evolutions again after a cooldown period for reduced or, after a few days, no energy costs.
Additionally, you can generate new energy if you walk with a Mega Pokémon as a buddy that has already Mega Evolved once.
These are the bonuses: Basically, most Mega Evolutions are already good attackers in themselves, some of them are among the best attackers in Pokémon GO overall.
However, they have one more peculiarity: They strengthen the attacks of all active monsters of the same type in raids. As a result, a cleverly used Mega Pokémon can make a big difference in the raid.
Additionally, they bring extra candies for every catch of the same type while they are active.
However, you should note that some Mega Evolutions change their type compared to the “normal” monster or gain additional ones.
