Which Events are Particularly Worth It in June?
The Themed Events:
- Pokémon GO Fest 2022 (June 4 and 5): The GO Fest is one of the biggest events in Pokémon GO. You will encounter numerous spawns and cool shinies, as well as receive great bonuses. This year, the mysterious Pokémon Shaymin celebrates its debut, and you can expect the Ultra Beast Anego, a completely new type of monsters.
- Adventure Week (June 7 to June 12): During Adventure Week, you will encounter Fossil and Rock Pokémon much more frequently in Pokémon GO. Although which ones will be present is not yet known, in the past, they have included monsters like Kabuto, Amonitas, Anorith, or Lileep. These can only be found occasionally in the game but are needed for completing the special research on Meltan.
- Crossover Event (June 16 to June 30): The Crossover Event takes place on the occasion of the collaboration with the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Pokémon GO is set to receive its own edition. However, what exactly you can expect at the event is still unknown.
Raids: In June, you will find three strong raid bosses in the Level 5 Raids: Kyogre, Groudon, and Mewtwo. All three belong to the best attackers in Pokémon GO, so you should capture these raid bosses. With a bit of luck, you might even catch them in their shiny form.
Spotlight Hours: The weekly spotlight hours include rather average Pokémon. However, the Pokémon from the last spotlight hour is still unknown but is rumored by Niantic to be a shiny. So a new Pokémon might make its (shiny) debut. But this remains to be seen.
