In Pokémon GO you can defeat most Rocket Grunts quite easily. However, one female villain proves to be a surprisingly powerful enemy.
What kind of battle is this? The Rocket battles can essentially be divided into two variants:
- The Rocket bosses Cliff, Arlo, Sierra and Giovanni, who approach battles a bit more cunningly by using shields.
- And the Rocket Grunts, who do not use shields and are therefore significantly easier to defeat.
Most grunts are thus not a problem; the minions of Team GO Rocket are usually not great fighters. However, one female villain among them can certainly provide a tough duel.
This is the strong Rocket villain – What monsters does she use?
How to recognize the villain: You can recognize the different Rocket types by their sayings. The strong female villain says, for example, the following sentences:
- Winning is for winners
- Don’t even try – victory belongs to me
- Prepare yourself for a defeat
There is also a male grunt who says these sentences, but he is noticeably easier to defeat. Because the villain uses monsters that are not easy to crack even without the use of shields.
- First, she always uses Crypto-Snorlax
- Second, she brings Crypto-Quagsire, Crypto-Snorlax, or Crypto-Gardevoir
- Pokémon number 3 is then Crypto-Gyarados, Crypto-Snorlax, or Crypto-Dragonite
Just by the names, you can see: These monsters are not easy to crack. If you go into the battle unprepared, because you are used to easily defeating the other Rockets, she can catch you off guard.
A good approach is to definitely have a strong fighting Pokémon with you to be able to stand up against Snorlax. After that, you should look for suitable types against the other monsters.
By the way: There are some Rocket Grunts where the fight is worth it for rewards.
Trainers say about the difficult battle: In the Pokémon GO community on reddit, the villain has already built a reputation as a tough opponent. Some comment there, for example, that Triple-Snorlax is a really tough duel if you have the wrong monsters with you. A Dragonite after two Snorlax can also finish you off quite quickly.
At the same time, some comment that they find these difficult battles exciting and enjoy the challenge.
