To reach the maximum level 50 in Pokémon GO, you need to complete some tasks and accumulate a large amount of experience points. You can increase the friend level of your friends, complete research tasks, or, for example, catch Pokémon.
A trainer on Reddit now reports an almost perfect throw in terms of the maximum yield of experience points. He has collected the incredible sum of 54,020 experience points with just a single throw. And that was without an experience point bonus from an event being active.
We will show you exactly how he did it and which bonuses he missed for the perfect throw.
2 small bonuses missing for the perfect throw
What bonuses did the trainer achieve in the throw? As the trainer shows in his Reddit post, he collected the following bonuses with his throw.
- Caught Pokémon: 600 XP
- New Pokémon: 2,000 XP
- First catch of the day: 9,000 XP
- Series bonus: 36,000 XP
- Fabulous throw: 6,000 XP
- Curveball: 120 XP
- Catch with one throw: 300 XP
In total, he reached a total of 54,020 experience points through the combination of these bonuses.
How did the trainer do it? The trainer cleverly combined many bonuses. He caught a new Pokémon, which was also the first catch of the day. By catching Pokémon on 7 consecutive days, he additionally claimed the series bonus.
Additionally, he caught the Pokémon with just a single throw, which was a fabulous curveball throw. This added more bonuses. Because the trainer activated a lucky egg before the throw, all the experience points were also doubled.
Which bonuses did the trainer miss? Although the trainer has already combined most of the possible bonuses, there are still 2 more bonuses that could have granted him additional experience points for the throw.
If the trainer had caught the Pokémon in AR+ mode, he could have additionally received 300 (or 600 with a lucky egg) experience points for the Expert Handler bonus. Additionally, with a suitable activated Mega Evolution, he could have received another 25 (or 50 with a lucky egg) experience points.
This way, he could have added another 650 to his already received experience points for the throw and would have reached 54,670 experience points.
