Sony released an annual outlook showcasing the best new games for the Playstation 5. Among them were Metal Gear Solid Delta and Silent Hill 2. This indirectly announced the release year for both highly anticipated remakes.
So far, “Metal Gear Solid” fans have been left in the dark about when the remake of the well-known Konami classic would finally launch. The same applied to players who have been eagerly waiting for Silent Hill 2.
Now, both games, along with several other titles, made an appearance in the Playstation annual preview for the year 2024, so fans can expect to enjoy the long-awaited remakes this year.

What kind of game is Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater? Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater is the remake of a Konami classic for the PS2 from 2004 and comes from video game creator Hideo Kojima, known for his complex and cinematic games.
In the game, you play as the soldier Snake, who is sent on a mission to the jungle during the Cold War to prevent the deployment of a destructive weapon.
You must sneak past enemies stealthily and ensure your survival in the hostile environment by taking care of wounds or setting traps.
What kind of game is Silent Hill 2? This is also a remake of a Konami classic. The survival and horror game was released in 2001 for the PS2.
In the remake, you once again take on the role of James Sunderland, who receives a letter from his deceased wife Mary. He is to go to Silent Hill. However, upon arrival, he finds a ghost town full of monsters.
In this horror game, you then solve the mystery surrounding Mary and the strange place while avoiding various creepy creatures.
