In Escape from Tarkov it’s all about collecting loot like gear and weapons. However, every 6 months, every player completely loses the progress they have made, and today is that day. What’s behind it?
What distinguishes the shooter? In Escape from Tarkov, you start on a map, collect loot, and then extract it. The risk is that if you die, you also lose the gear and weapons you brought into the raid. This principle and the associated “Gear-Fear” is responsible for the fact that a raid in this hardcore shooter promises special tension.
Why are players excited? Players gather tons of loot over a period of up to 6 months and complete missions. Over time, they have lots of good gear that can not only save them from death but also fill their stash. This creates difficulties in fitting the new loot in.

When is the wipe? On the morning of today, June 29, the servers of Escape from Tarkov went offline at 09:00. As developer Battlestate Games announced, the downtime will last 5 hours. The servers are expected to be back online at 14:00.
With the end of the downtime, patch 0.12.12.30 will be available, which according to the official patch notes on escapefromtarkov.com brings the latest wipe.

What’s included in the patch? In addition to the wipe eagerly awaited by Tarkov fans, today’s patch will also provide some exciting new content. MeinMMO lists the highlights:
