In GTA Online there is a glitch that allows players to double their purchased vehicles. They even kill innocent prostitutes in the game for this. Rockstar had actually fixed this issue, but players find a new way to exploit it.
What kind of glitch is this? With this glitch, players can duplicate their purchased vehicles for free. Normally, one would have to buy a vehicle again for a lot of money.
Cars can be quite expensive, especially if they belong to the fastest cars in GTA Online.
But with this glitch, the cars are copied and end up double in the player’s garage without costing a dollar.
Additionally, these vehicles can be sold again, making a profit on top of that.
How does the glitch work? We will refrain from a detailed guide here. Essentially, it involves
- getting a prostitute into the car
- trapping the car so that the prostitute cannot exit
- bringing the car you want to duplicate
- and killing the prostitute.
The glitch is not easy to execute, requiring time and several steps that must be followed. If someone wants to quickly and unfairly obtain money, this car glitch is not suitable.
This is how RockStar Games reacted: The developers quickly fixed this glitch in GTA 5 Online when players first found it.
Rockstar fixed the original method of the glitch on March 5. This was shared by data miner TezFunz2 on Twitter as he wrote about a recent background update to GTA Online:
But players have now found this workaround to continue exploiting the glitch in a modified way.
So Rockstar will probably have to step up again and find another way to get the glitch under control. Similar incidents have occurred:
- With the big Lester glitch in GTA Online that enriched players with millions of dollars.
- With the horse race glitch
Is it allowed to use the glitch? We advise against duplicating vehicles in GTA Online with this glitch. This mechanic is not intended by the game and can lead to your account being banned.
There is also a glitch in the casino that supposedly guarantees that you always land on the car prize at the lucky wheel:
