The “Frog” situation in Remix of World of Warcraft has repeated itself. Some are now super strong – the developers have nerfed the farming method.
One of the biggest concerns of the community before the launch of WoW Legion Remix was that the “Frog” situation from Mists of Pandaria Remix would repeat itself. Back then, clever players could farm a special kind of enemies (the frogs on the Timeless Isle) in the first days and gain almost unlimited power.
This also happened in Legion Remix. Blizzard has drastically nerfed this farming method, but the “damage” has already been done.
How did it work in Remix Legion? Even in Remix Legion, there was a very efficient farming method. This time, it wasn’t frogs, but elite opponents in the heroic world. In the heroic world, more items that grant “Infinite Power” drop. Elite opponents have an even greater chance for such drops. This led to farming groups of 8 people positioning themselves in elite areas and farming there for hours. Azsuna was particularly popular here.

Farmers are nerfed, their power reset
Does Blizzard nerf these characters? Last night, Blizzard announced that they have weakened the farming method. At the same time, there is a nerf for all who massively exploited these farming methods. Anyone who possesses more than 10,000,000 Infinite Power will be reset to exactly 10,000,000. While still strong, this is much closer to what others could legitimately farm. The most active players who did not exploit this method are currently at around 7,000,000 to 8,000,000.
In Legion Remix, you reach a point relatively quickly where you are so powerful that more power only makes a small difference. Whether raid bosses fall in 20 or 30 seconds is hardly of significance anymore.
However, some players feel disappointed that there was again a farming method that could be exploited massively to gain an advantage quickly. However, most say on social media: “Who cares?” They see it pragmatically. Because these overpowered characters will now ensure that some raid or dungeon can be completed even faster than before.
At least Remix has solved another problem – there is simply no tank shortage.
