A user claims that the developers of Palworld do not care about their fans, pointing out several issues. The Head of Publishing & Communications found it too much.
What is the accusation? On X a user shares a note on Steam that Palworld is still in Early Access. He believes it is becoming increasingly obvious that the developers do not care about the fans. He cites the following examples:
- “Only” 2 collaborations in 2 years
- 2 spin-offs, which are also not finished yet
- Palworld itself, which is still in Early Access after 2 years
However, it must be said that the accusation came shortly before Palworld’s second anniversary. Here, the developers presented a roadmap for 2026 and also revealed the approximate timeline for the final release.
The accusation has also been seen by Bucky. As the Head of Publishing & Communications for Palworld, he does not hold back and has often stood up to hate comments in the past. He also commented on this post and shared his opinion.
Developers of Palworld Defend Themselves
How do the developers respond? Bucky replies on X that they do care about the fans. He affirmed the accusations but reframed them positively:
- The 2 collaborations were completely free
- It is an impressive achievement to work on 2 spin-offs alongside the main game
- In the 2 years of Early Access, numerous bug fixes and patches have been released
He then mocks the comment and ironically presents his “master plan.” According to him, they should release Palworld now, add loot boxes, disable the single-player mode, and integrate online enforcement, only to shut down the servers in 12 months.
For him, it is “Twitter logic” when users think that no care is taken for the game, while they are actively working on it and releasing free content.
He also fears that there could be negative comments at launch. Then version 1.0 would probably be labeled a flop, according to Bucky.
