According to his own statement, the user plays a lot of multiplayer in Elden Ring, but he has never encountered such a high amount. He felt like Scrooge McDuck, swimming in his own money – in this case, in his own runes.

Why did the player receive so many runes? In the comments, other users of the forum are looking for possible scenarios as to why the player received so many runes. Many suspect that it could either be a bug or a cheat.
However, where the users agree: Something must be wrong with this gigantic amount.
SilvesTheRog suspects that it might be a hack through Save Wizard or something similar. Perhaps the other player set his level to over 713 and the game simply gave out the amount of runes that would be appropriate for such a high level.
However, Salted_One thinks that it’s more likely to be a bug. Another user had received exactly the same amount from another player, which would be a very large coincidence.
Are the runes valuable? Either way, many users are happy about the player’s sudden wealth. The runes are among the most important things in Elden Ring. They are both experience points and currency in the game.
The user also used the 80 million runes to level up. After spending the runes, he reached level 314. The maximum level in Elden Ring is 713. This level is reached when every attribute is level 99.
