In Pokémon GO, every player can focus on what they enjoy the most. One player has now completed a Pokédex of a different kind.
What is it about? On Reddit, a player reports that he has spent the last 5 years in the game completing a very special Pokédex. Unlike other players whose focus is on collecting, he focused on 420 different Pokémon with exactly 420 CP.
He calls this Pokédex “TheFortWentyDex”. All 420 different Pokémon he has immortalized in this Pokédex also received their own nickname from him.
In addition to the actual collection, he also collected 120 duplicates with 420 CP over time.

What does the community say about it? The responses to this special Pokédex are very positive. Besides a number of, how could it be otherwise, “nice” comments, the creativity in naming is also highlighted. The trainer is praised for his perseverance.

What does the trainer say about it? After the trainer has worked on this collection for the last 5 years, this project is now successfully completed for him. However, there were also stumbling blocks, such as a sudden change in CP by Niantic: That was in 2018, at that time I only had 6 420 CP Pokémon. Let’s hope they never do a rebalancing again

In this collection, he was only interested in the CP values. When asked how it is determined with the IV values of the Pokémon, he answers that he doesn’t even know them.
How did the trainer approach collecting? He leveled most Pokémon in this collection up to exactly 420 CP. He also used the app PokéGenie to specifically search for the evolved Pokémon. How PokéGenie works, you can find out here. Additionally, the trainer explains that he had a self-imposed rule that he had to catch every 420 CP Pokémon in the wild – even if he already had it.
What is the trainer’s next goal? He states that he does not yet know what to do with himself. The community has of course made appropriate suggestions for him.
One of the suggestions is that he could take on the same project with the numbers 69 and 666 next. The trainer comments that he has already collected some specimens of these. However, the space needed in the Pokémon storage box would likely be a bigger problem for him.
