MMOs take time, and New World is no exception. A player has reportedly invested a remarkable 675 hours since release to level all professions. And he is not done yet: His goal is to achieve max level for all skills.
Who is the player? The reddit user The_SleepyTiger, in-game known as Sleepy Tiger, sent a screenshot of his professions in New World. After 675 hours, as he claims, he has finally reached level 140 in all skills.
While this may not be a special milestone, he has reached that level in all professions, not just “only” in all gathering professions. A member of the MeinMMO community already brought those to max level 200 shortly after the release .
Recently, Sleepy Tiger has apparently caught up on weaponsmithing and fishing. He has even achieved level 200 in several skills:
Which is the most annoying profession? In a comment, Sleepy Tiger explains that he finds the carpentry profession the most annoying. With this, you can create furniture and decor for your own house.
For production, however, you need materials from all sorts of sources: wood, metals, alchemical resources, and other raw materials. This makes the profession so laborious.
His goal: Everything at 200 – “Nothing can stop me”
This is his plan: Sleepy Tiger aims to bring all professions to level 200 and thus to max level. He still needs 6 professions, including the unpopular carpentry. He himself says that he enjoys the whole process, even though New World is currently being criticized by many players.

By the way, a user even reveals that there is a recipe that makes leveling carpentry easy: the powder horn. You can learn it through the eponymous recipe, and it requires:
- Animal Horn x1
- Gunpowder x15
- Beeswax x5
You get the rare animal horn back when you disassemble powder horns, so you can use it endlessly. Gunpowder can be purchased cheaply on many servers, and you can find beeswax since the big update 1.1 in trees filled with honeycombs. The large trees should guarantee wax, while smaller ones have a chance.
What about New World? Since many players have reached the endgame of New World, there has been criticism. It is said that the game offers too few contents for max level. However, opinions on this do not entirely agree.
Like Sleepy Tiger, Twitch streamer shroud also believes that you must set your own goals in New World. He celebrates the endgame and explains that it is only boring if you do not seek anything to do.
