Red Dead Redemption 2 is packed with little features that players marvel at. A player recently noticed that the city of Saint Denis has no tolerance for rats.
Time and again, players stumble upon smaller nuances that are only revealed upon closer inspection in RDR 2. A player has now discovered that you are rewarded for killing rats.
This is what happened: On Reddit, user ZooNai posted a video. He writes: Fun Fact #5837: Killing rats in Saint Denis increases your honor.
In the video, you can see how the player finds a rat by the tracks of Saint Denis, aims at it, and finally shoots it with an arrow from his bow. An icon then pops up on the screen, indicating that his honor has just increased.
However, it is better not to attack these animals:
This surprises players: In fact, the city of Saint Denis is very sensitive. A player writes in the comments: “Wrong! Even killing a mosquito will give you a $200 bounty in Saint Denis.”
Another writes: “Really? Has anyone else tried that? I mean, I am really surprised that you don’t immediately have the police on your tail because you had your weapons drawn.”
Others explain that they have also hunted rats in Saint Denis. But when citizens saw them, the players were reported for disturbing the peace.
The city is known for imposing a staggering number of fines for smaller offenses. Therefore, there are regularly memes that poke fun at Saint Denis:

So now it is surprising that the player received honor points, even though the city is actually so sensitive in that regard. Perhaps the residents are secretly pleased not to be overrun by a plague.
