In Path of Exile 2, there is no shortage of loot in the endgame, as a new video proves. The user even had to get help collecting it.
Who is this about? The Reddit user LeavingTheGame had a lot of luck with a map in Path of Exile 2. According to his own statements, his map contained 15 Breaches. The league mechanic “Breach” is currently considered meta in the community because it provides an extreme amount of loot. This was also true in this case.
In a video on Reddit, the player shows his haul. A whole screen full of loot, as far as the eye can see. However, the abundance of loot also posed a significant challenge for him.

Almost Impossible Alone
What was the challenge? The gamer is playing Path of Exile 2 on the PS5, which means he couldn’t use a loot filter at the time of the map.
Loot filters are a useful tool in PoE2 that hide unimportant loot and highlight valuable items. They will only be available on consoles with the next update. Currently, they are only available on PC or through roundabout ways on consoles.
The massive number of items not only obstructs the player’s view but also prevents him from getting an overview. Without a loot filter, he faces an impossible mammoth task.
As he tells on Reddit, he had to seek help from players with loot filters. Otherwise, he would have spent hours on it alone. Even with the help of some gamers with loot filters, collecting and sorting took more than 30 minutes.

How does the community react to the loot? The community thinks it’s time for loot filters to finally come to consoles as well. This will only happen with the next patch, which is supposed to come out this week. However, some players can hardly believe their eyes because they have never seen so much loot themselves.
For instance, Ancient-Educator-186 writes on Reddit: “You are playing a completely different game than I am. Even without a filter, I don’t have anywhere near what is seen on this screen.”
User secondcircle4903 criticizes the developers on Reddit: “Adding a loot filter is really just a quick fix to this problem; they completely missed the point of simply ‘playing’ without a loot filter.”
LegalizeRanch88 is also currently dissatisfied, writing on Reddit: “And you can’t target any loot until you’ve killed every single monster… Looting and auto-targeting is really bad on consoles. Whenever I play with PC players, they have no problem grabbing all the loot in the middle of a fight. On the PS5, it’s impossible.”
In the meantime, the developers have acknowledged that it is no longer feasible in Path of Exile 2 on consoles without loot filters as a tool.
