A racer in GTA Online wanted to drive home a safe victory when he suddenly had insane bad luck. The community describes it like the blue shell from Mario Kart. The video of the accident is being discussed heatedly.
This is what makes the clip special: In the video, you can see a stunt race in the last lap. The top five positions are battling hard for the lead, bumping and crashing. Amid all this chaos, the creator of the clip manages to navigate through and take the lead.
After a looping that leads directly onto the finish straight with a jump, the driver faces insane bad luck. Because there, the slowest player is parked with his car on its side.

This is how the player gets eliminated: In the clip, you can see how the shown player fights his way from 6th place to the front. After the jump through the looping, you only see at the last moment before landing that something is in the way.
The last-placed player is lying with his car exactly in the middle of the track on its side. He is positioned in such a way that he is very hard to notice for drivers coming out of the looping in the center. The clip creator ZonZolto shows on reddit how it ended for him.
He landed on the parked car, bounced off to the right, and tumbled, after a few flips and spins, finally off the racetrack. The respawn took so long that he finished the race in 8th place.
What does the community say? The clip is super well received on reddit. In 17 hours, it already gathered over 13,000 upvotes and nearly 400 comments. The commenters empathize with the driver’s bad luck and describe the clip as “pain.”
