Elden Ring is an RPG monster that wants to devour your character and your time – often the game is even successful in this. A player on the discussion platform reddit recently drew attention because she pumped 56 hours into a collection achievement and apparently got lucky.
What kind of achievement was that? Reddit user “KyraThressen” has collected all 308 weapons in Elden Ring. She states in a thread on reddit that it took her around 56 hours.
Elden Ring is huge, the open world packed with puzzles, nasty monsters, and NPCs constantly appearing who want to throw punches. Nevertheless, she persevered and could secure the achievement.

How did she do it? The answer is as simple as it is exhausting. Ultimately, you need 3 things:
- An Arcane build
- Very much patience
- A large notepad
In the reddit thread, KyraThressen explains that there is no short way to achieve this success. It is pure willpower. However, one should inform themselves in advance and take notes on where and when to obtain which weapons. Additionally, there are “missable” weapons that would only be available again in NewGame+.
Moreover, a build focusing on Arcane is helpful. This slightly improves your chances for weapons that drop from certain enemies. KyraThressen’s build shows 95 Arcane in the reddit thread:
Which weapon was the most annoying? At the front is “Envoy’s Greathorn.” The gigantic weapon is dropped by certain enemies that are difficult to defeat. Additionally, the drop rate is abysmal.
Following closely is the Cleanrot Spear. While it is not so difficult to farm, it was very boring to farm the thing.
KyraThressen was not the first to secure all weapons in Elden Ring. Other equipment grinders chime in the thread. User “xxvkaxx” even calls KyraThressen a lucky person – he took over 150 hours. Maleficent_Ground372 even claims to have collected all armors as well.
When asked if the whole action is worth it, there is a clear answer: No. Although it is “incredibly satisfying to finish it,” it is not worth the time, according to KyraThressen.
One should set goals, maybe farm the best weapons of Elden Ring. But not all, she cannot recommend that to anyone.
