In Path of Exile 2, there are weapons and equipment that can define your builds with their unique effect or change the gameplay style with their effect. These unique items are rare, but they can drop in various activities and can be traded with other players.

Crafting Uniques
How do I craft Uniques? With the “Orb of Possibilities,” you can transform regular items into unique items. You receive the orb as a drop or by collecting 10 fragments of possibilities. There are a few things to keep in mind when crafting:
- Upgrading works only on regular items, which means those that are not magical or rare. Keep this in mind before planning to upgrade certain items.
- You will only receive uniques that drop randomly – none that are tied to specific bosses or events.
- The orb can upgrade regular items – but it can also destroy them.
Uniques can have a huge impact on builds and change the way you play. However, the chosen ascendancy also plays a crucial role.
