Paragon Headquarters. Thursday, 4 PM. The hairstyle holds. Or rather: The schedule. After an extensive 3-week introduction to the recently released hero Greystone, nature in the form of Fey now takes over the battlefield of Agoras.
Fear the Wrath of Nature
The team behind the third-person MOBA Paragon remains true to its line and its own hashtag #Every3Weeks. With “Fey”, the twentieth free-to-play character will be available to all players starting next Tuesday. And after leading cyborgs, knights, and crazy goblins on a kind of dinosaur with a penchant for pyromania into battle, we are now taking a trip into the realm of mystical forest beings.
Fey is a support character with strong crowd-control abilities. With “Uncontrollable Growth”, she has an explosive plant that deals area damage over time available, and her “Thicket” can slow multiple enemies on contact.
If she needs a bit of mana, she can directly “tap” the enemies with her ability Collecting Thorns, which generates mana on a successful hit. Fey’s ultimate will literally draw you in. The “Flytrap” can keep several cowardly enemies from fleeing while dealing damage. This could lead to immense problems for the opposing team in combination with Gideon or, as seen in the video, Steel.
Doubly done
Although Fey will only join the hero roster on August 2nd, until then there are still double reputation and XP to earn for everyone. Additionally, Paragon’s community challenge is still running until Monday, where the goal is to level up a total of 850,000 heroes. If this goal is reached, developer Epic Games will reward every player with the Monarch Dekker skin.
“PS Plus” members also have the opportunity to download and play Paragon for free in July before its official free-to-play release on August 16th. So if you haven’t done so yet, hurry up. Because all progress you make with the hero or your level will remain, giving you a small advantage in the fight for Agora.
