And now you can choose which agent you want to watch. Or you can just check out the mission from all three viewpoints.
This mission is a Hard Mode mission. It takes you into the Hudson Refugee Camp. Some Cleaners are really putting the pressure on you that need to be taken out. See for yourself – you can choose the perspective.

With the launch of the western Black Desert , Western players are finally no longer welcome in the Korean version.
As Daum announces in a letter, with the launch of the western version of Black Desert, all “overseas” IPs will be blocked in the Korean version.
These news were already reported a few months ago. Now it is said that they will add “another set of foreign IPs” to the pool of blocked addresses. Players with such blocked IPs will no longer be able to start the game via the Korean website.
They apologize to those who play Black Desert outside of Korea, but the measure is necessary to ensure a smooth operation for “global users”.

Xul, the Necromancer from the Diablo universe, will be the next hero in Heroes of the Storm. We take a first look at his abilities.
Xul the Necromancer – A Classic from Diablo 2
After Li-Ming had a strong start in Heroes of the Storm, it is slowly time to talk about the next hero arriving in the Nexus. The Necromancer Xul originates from Diablo 2, and as befits a proper summoner, he brings numerous skeletons and other unholy deeds to the Nexus. Let’s take a look at his abilities:
The passive ability Raise Skeleton creates skeletons from fallen enemy minions that fight for Xul for 15 seconds. A maximum of 4 skeletons can be active at the same time.
With Bone Armor, he receives a shield for 3 seconds equal to 25% of his maximum health.
Spectral Scythe is summoned at a target location and moves toward the hero after a short delay, damaging all enemies in its path. This is essentially a “reverse” skill shot.
The Cursed Strikes grant Xul’s basic attacks an area-of-effect “Cleave” that also reduces enemy heroes’ attack speed by 50% for 2 seconds.
The Bone Prison roots the targeted hero in place for 2 seconds after a 2-second delay.
The first heroic ability Poison Nova fires toxic projectiles after a short delay, inflicting massive poison damage to all affected enemies over 10 seconds.
The second heroic ability Skeletal Mages summons 4 undead mages in a straight line that attack nearby enemies and slow them by 30% for 2 seconds. The mages last for up to 15 seconds.
There has been extensive discussion about the Necromancer’s talents as well. At least at first glance, there seem to be several talent distributions for Xul that appear quite reasonable. He can either focus entirely on his skeleton army and relentlessly push lanes, or he can become a feared assassin who is always in close combat. Finally, he can also massively increase his own survivability and thus simply “outlive” enemy heroes, while they have to retreat battered.
There is no exact release date for Xul yet. We will keep you updated as soon as his spotlight video is released.
Update: Blizzard has now confirmed his release date. He will arrive in the Nexus next week, at the beginning of March.
Wargaming is currently facing some criticism from the community of the online game World of Tanks as the company seems to be ineffective in dealing with so-called “Rigging.”
With the update 0.9.12, Wargaming introduced the new tank T-22. This can be obtained by mastering a series of particularly difficult missions. Naturally, many want to have this tank, as the online game also appeals to the collecting aspect and furthermore, the tanks allow for new tactics and strategies.
Wargaming against Cheaters
However, the missions through which one can obtain the T-22 are very difficult. So difficult that some gamers resort to so-called “Rigging.” In this, teams coordinate with the opposing team, making it easier to complete the missions. “Rigging” is reportedly forbidden by Wargaming, which is why the company takes action against those who resort to this method.
However, many WoT fans express disappointment over how Wargaming is dealing with the situation. Because a script is used that automatically identifies players who have accepted the T-22 as a reward. However, the script allegedly cannot differentiate between someone who has lawfully or unlawfully acquired the tank.
Is Wargaming acting fairly?
Additionally, those who engage in “Rigging” but do not receive or accept the tank are not punished. This has led to strong criticism. However, Wargaming explains that the script has been intensively tested and that unjustified “bans” of players can actually be ruled out.
They will not speak about how the script works to prevent cheaters from finding a way to bypass it. They hope that players will trust Wargaming as they want to ensure optimal gameplay.
Anyone who believes they have been unjustly banned from World of Tanks can contact support, and the situation will be reviewed.

In the last livestream, the developers of Guild Wars 2 presented the next boss of the upcoming raid wing – a gigantic sloth.
New Raid Boss: The Hellish Sloth
In a stream, one of the game designers of Guild Wars 2, Crystal Reid, talked about the upcoming raid wing that will open in the near future – at least about the first boss that awaits players there. In the “Salvation” wing of the raid waits a gigantic… sloth. From hell.
And because Slothasor alone wouldn’t be scary enough, he also brings his larva “Slubling” with him, which has a similarly disturbing and gruesome “face.” Slubling counts as a typical “add” of the fight and spits various negative effects on players, as there are four different types of it. Even in death, he still spreads his acid.
The developers sound like they had a lot of fun designing the boss, with one claiming he had to watch the Discovery Channel all day to develop cool effects and animations for this boss.
In terms of difficulty, the bosses of the new wing are said to be comparable to “Spirit Vale”, as they want “the fights definitely not to be so challenging that they are impossible, because that would reduce their accessibility.”
Regarding achievements, the “Salvation Pass” is supposed to work a bit differently than before. There will be no simple “avoid X and then kill the boss” achievements, but they should “drastically change how you approach the boss fight.” Possible achievements could include something like “Kill Slothasor without killing Slubling” or something similar – but this is still just speculation.
After the Closed Beta, the Open Beta of The Division has also recently come to an end. Rewards are promised for participation in both test phases.
Over 6.4 million agents participated in the Open Beta of The Division: this is a new beta record. These participants are to be rewarded with stylish rewards.
Ubisoft has already announced in their FAQ section that there will be in-game rewards as a thank you for participating in the test phase. These can be unlocked at the launch of the main game. However, how this “thank you” will look concretely has been completely unknown so far. Neither Ubisoft nor Massive Entertainment has disclosed any details about this.
According to Community Manager Hamish Bode (via reddit), these are the rewards for your efforts in the test phases:
Open Beta: Shortbows-Sports-Jacket
This jacket is a thank you for participating in the Open Beta. It is expected to be available at the rewards vendor in the Operations Base.
Closed Beta: Shortbows-Sports-Cap
Participants of the Closed Beta are to receive this stylish cap. This too is expected to be available at the rewards vendor.
Alpha: Weapon Skin
This weapon skin is to be awarded for participating in the Alpha. Only Xbox One users can look forward to this.
All rewards are part of the “New York Shortbows” gear set. This set is particularly characterized by the colors blue, white, and red. The rewards will be available right at launch. Therefore, we will probably see numerous agents running around with these free items from day one.
There are no official statements about the rewards, i.e. a statement directly from Ubisoft or Massive. However, since this information comes from Hamish Bode, who is the community developer for The Division, it can be considered very credible.
What do you think of these rewards? Do you like what you can get?
In Moba League of Legends there are some champions who leave a strong impression through their style and champion theme.
Many of these champions serve as inspiration for cosplayers when they attend large events. If you want to be the center of attention at these events, you naturally need that certain extra. On one hand, a strong costume and a bit of acting talent already earn you many points in the League of Legends community – but how about a real sword?
This question was also posed by the people from the YouTube channel “AWE me”. They have been building weapons from games or movies for several years. From the construction of the diamond sword from Minecraft to the creation of Mjölnir, the hammer of Thor, many videos have already been found on their channel. Now their fans voted for a video on the creation of the sword that Master Yi wields in League of Legends.

In Black Desert, the evil gender lock causes unrest. The solution is simple: just play as a girl.
Beast Tamer, Ranger, Sorceress – Only for Girls
Black Desert has 11 classes in Korea now, here in Europe you start with 7. The problem: Except for Wizard/Witch, the classes are gender locked. The Berserker is only available as a giant; Beast Tamer, Ranger, and Sorceress are exclusively female.
The other 6 classes like Warrior/Valkyrie, Blader/Plum, or Ninja and Kunoichi are essentially class pairs. Two variations of the same archetype but with differences in skills.
For a while, it seemed like Daum would change their mind and introduce a female counterpart to every class – like they did with Wizard/Witch – but they have since moved away from that. In Korea, there haven’t been any new heroes or heroines for a while; instead, they are releasing “Awakening Weapons” for the individual classes, providing new ways to play.
Gender Lock is Medieval, they say
We have been reporting on Black Desert for two years, and for two years, the gender lock has been a horror for some of our readers. Now the game is coming to Europe, and the German gaming press looks at the game with horror and exclaims: “Oh God! Gender Lock! Dark Ages!” One cannot identify with the class, and overall it is a complete outrage.
A sensitive topic that many readers engage with. Especially people who have never heard of the game but have a strong opinion are heavily debating below the columns on the subject.
People say it’s somehow sexist. They don’t allow you to play the “great sword-swinging warrior” like Brienne of Tarth, but you have to play a girl in a dress. That is outrageous, how outdated gender roles are being imposed on players. One is pressed into clichés – Oh my God. When real MMORPG players despise clichés so deeply.
South Korea isn’t just a district of Dortmund
That the game was developed for Korea and that on the other side of the world they may not see everything through the “Political Correctness” lens that is obviously distributed in packs of five here, doesn’t play a significant role. Koreans must be like us, only smaller and with a funny language.
But in Korea, they don’t think like us. Where we in the West scream if we could only play Ninja and not Ninjain, it would be no issue in Korea. From that perspective, one simply doesn’t perceive the problem. They see it differently: “Two classes that can do exactly the same? How boring is that? Then let’s rather make two variants of a class that differ in play style. Better 12 instead of just 6 classes – it’s much more exciting.”
Sounds strange to us, but is the normal perspective there.
I want to play something new, but just like I’ve always played
On other sites, you read what you often hear from MMO veterans: I play my games exactly like this. I play these characters with this gender. I have always done it this way. Nothing is going to change. And if I can’t play it that way, then I won’t buy it.
Legitimate view, as far as I’m concerned. But: These are the same people who scream horrified with every new game because there’s nothing new and innovative. Everything has been done before. There’s a lack of innovation. Yet when they accidentally stumble upon a new game, it must still be played the same way they want, just like they have always done.
It’s like going to an Italian restaurant and complaining that the spaghetti doesn’t taste like Maggi as mom always cooked it. You want to see something new from the world and go to the Caribbean. But there should still be the Bild newspaper and a pack of Stuyvesant at the kiosk. And please no too many mosquitoes!
What one must make clear: Black Desert is a Korean game. And Korea is not a funny-sounding district of Dortmund, but a different world.
The MMO world will surely not heal from Western ways
Black Desert is not a blockbuster from EA, Activision, or Ubisoft that is tailored to our taste and aims to please everyone. Black Desert is a niche MMORPG. It is not designed for the mainstream taste of a player base that has been socialized with very different values and games. Anyone who has watched a South Korean film should have noticed that it’s a different world where different aesthetic values prevail.
And besides! As if the solution for MMORPGs was: Make them more European! Because our Western MMORPGs have been doing so well for years, right? The Western market was the third choice for Daum, after Asia and Russia. And it will be the same with the Asia hits like Lost Ark in the future. No “Yes, then let them adapt it to us” measures are expected. They will not do that. Anyone who believes that Asians will now tailor the games to our liking now that our own market is in ruins is deluding themselves.
Just because the currywurst stalls are closing left and right, doesn’t mean the Asian around the corner will switch from sushi to fries with ketchup and mayo. He looks around and says: I’m not crazy and won’t open a fry shop here.
More New Experiences
Black Desert is an exotic with some interesting game concepts, such as the knowledge and node system. It is a new flavor. When approaching such a “foreign product” with one’s own values and tastes, being inflexible and insisting on playing the exotic exactly as one has always played will lead to disappointment. In times when the supply of Western MMORPGs tends towards zero, it is also worth looking beyond one’s own plate and adjusting.
One of the Western values that is often invoked is to open oneself to something new and to stand open and tolerant towards the foreign.
Black Desert is not made for us. That is no reason why we can’t enjoy it. We just play a girl for a change, even if we are not one. It won’t kill us.

Today, on February 23, a patch is being rolled out for the online shooter Star Wars Battlefront. The February update brings a new mission and a map.
Currently, there is heavy patching happening on two of the three platforms that Star Wars Battlefront runs on. On PC, the fun started at 9 AM, on PS4 at 11 AM, and on Xbox One, it is scheduled for 1 PM. The patches are expected to take about an hour each. During this time, Star Wars Battlefront will be offline for maintenance.
The February update introduces the new map “Twilight on Hoth” for the “larger” modes. Additionally, there is the new survival mission “Survival in the Ice Caves” on Hoth. The turning point mode will be available today on all maps that previously supported Walker Assault and Supremacy.
One more technical change: The DLC Jakku will now be part of Star Wars Battlefront, and according to EA, you can delete the download you obtained from sales platforms.
Blizzard will soon release a new book that will completely deal with the background story of Azeroth. A few excerpts from the work World of Warcraft Chronicle already promise a feast for fans.
Of Troll Wars and the First Elves
Over the years, Blizzard has repeatedly tinkered with the lore of World of Warcraft and Warcraft in general. While many fan sites and wikis try to compile all this knowledge, it is still fragmentary. Blizzard has now set itself the goal of filling these knowledge gaps and once and for all answering the questions about the origin of Azeroth. The work “World of Warcraft The Chronicle: Volume 1” will answer many exciting questions.

But the book offers far more than just compiled knowledge from quests and other books. Many aspects of the lore that were previously completely unclear are now revealed, and exciting details are highlighted (which role players will surely absorb).
Who would have thought that the Night Elves actually descend from the trolls? How did the old gods exactly land on Azeroth and how did the various Troll Wars unfold? “Chronicles” provides an answer to all these – and surely many more – questions. Chronologically, the book covers the history of Azeroth up to the events of the book “The Last Guardian,” which essentially marks the era of Warcraft 1.
But even if you’re just looking for something for the eyes, the work will be able to delight. Numerous new concept art and artworks adorn the book and show the formation of Azeroth and how the world shaped itself to what we know today. Blizzard has released some pages as examples to make fans even more excited about the book. We have the beautiful artworks here for you (click to enlarge).
World of Warcraft Chronicle 1 will be released in English on March 15, 2016, with a German release shortly thereafter in April.

In the MMO shooter Destiny the new week starts on February 23 with a Nightfall strike and the raid challenge. Later in the day, 320 Ghosts and the February Iron Banner are available.
Additionally, the 320 Ghosts are expected to be delivered today. This should happen around 7 PM, as it has always been in the past. Every player who completed 7 games in the Crimson Week will receive a 320 Ghost, without acting like a lemming.
But first, let’s talk about the “normal” reset.
The Nightfall strike on February 23 in Destiny leads to the Sunless Cell
The Nightfall strike this week is “Sunless Cell”; Alak-Hul’s Dark Room. The Dark Room of the aliens, so to speak.
Modifiers are:
Berserker – The enemies won’t rest even after critical hits and want to devour you
Small Arms – Primary weapons should be favored
Chaff – The radar is blocked
Airborne – Guardians deal more damage while in the air
This week it is Balwûr’s turn. She is summoned by using an antiquated rune. She is the lady with the acolytes and the nasty floor.
Are there videos, tricks, and guides to this week’s challenges in Destiny?
At this point, we will add some videos throughout the day that show you how experienced Guardians take down the minions of darkness.
Here in the video, a Guardian defeats the Nightfall Sunless Cell today in the way of Han (namely solo) and explains how he did it (MIDA Multi-Tool was, for example, part of it):

In Bless some servers are being merged. The reason for this is the unequal distribution of the player base.
Merger for the sake of balance
The Korean MMORPG Bless seems to be running out of steam, at least the latest steps paint a rather bleak picture. While some servers of Bless are well populated and there can even be queues, others are completely empty and players have to wait ages to find a group. With the merging of the realms, they hope to alleviate this issue a bit.
Especially in the large 100vs100 battles, there were often long waiting times. The rewards in PvP heavily depend on the time invested, making it particularly frustrating for PvP players when they are stranded on what seems to be a “dead” server.
Along with the merger, there will also be some new content, with Steparu reporting on new PvP opportunities in the RvR and GvG areas.

Paladins brings a new patch in the closed beta. This introduces weapon skins, brings a new map, and makes minor balance changes.
The Glacier Keep is maze-like
The hero shooter Paladins, from HiRez, the makers of SMITE, receives regular new updates. In the current “Closed Beta 15 Patch” the number of available maps increases to 3. The “Glacier Keep” will initially only be available in the Siege mode, but is expected to distinguish itself clearly from the two maps “Enchanted Forest” and “Temple Ruins”. Many narrow corridors and winding alleys are expected to favor close combat, while certain positions will also provide wide visibility.

Apart from the new map, there are now weapon skins to customize the various heroes. These are, however, expensive and require 1000 “Crafting Points” to produce – equivalent to the value of 10 legendary cards. This is suitable for players who already own all cards and want to stand out from the crowd.
Aside from that, Groverreceives some buffs. His movement speed has been increased and his axe now deals nearly 30% more damage in close combat.
Evie is slightly nerfed.
The assassin Skye loses some power from her Poison Bolts, and Evie’s Ice Storm no longer slows down opponents as much as before.
Finally, there were numerous bug fixes and minor changes to the menus and interface. In summary, Paladins is slowly but surely taking on a much rounder form.

The MMO shooter The Division has had the most successful beta for current-gen consoles.
“The hype is real,” as the cool kids say on the street. According to Ubisoft, 6.4 million players have tried The Division beta. This made it the largest beta ever for a new IP on current-gen platforms.
On average, players spent 5 hours in the world of The Division. Additionally, another 2 hours were spent in the Dark Zone. Half of the players succumbed to the lure of easy loot and went rogue. 63,309,800 items were smuggled out of the Dark Zone by players.
In the MMO shooter Destiny , new community videos have been curated for the videos of the week. This time, there are a lot of stars.
“Finally, the Taikonaut is good for something!” This is said about this Destiny version of the movie “The Martian” with Matt Damon. Great video of the week by Bungie’s grace. Highly recommended, it’s always amazing what the game has to offer.

The first location to be visited in the upcoming offline demo of the MMORPG Chronicles of Elyria has been revealed.
This is the “Ruined Watchpost”. The details about this ruin are still unknown. The image shows its location on a small hill near a forest. The screenshot also demonstrates how the graphics of the MMO currently look. Visually, the game is already very impressive, but the developers have stated that they will continue to refine the graphics.
The developers of Chronicles of Elyria also announce that they are currently working on a major update for the website, which they aim to complete this month. Next month will then become very interesting. Because they plan to release tech and gameplay videos of the game, allowing viewers to see how it looks in motion. Additionally, they want to share much more about the lore of the game world. Currently, more than a dozen people are working on the MMO, doing their best to develop a truly great online role-playing game.
No Kickstarter campaign for now
Regarding the funding of the game, they do not plan to start a Kickstarter campaign for the time being. The budget that they have managed to raise so far would last for a while, and only when it is exhausted will they consider Kickstarter.
Currently, the community consists of around 25,000 members who are keenly interested in Chronicles of Elyria. If a Kickstarter campaign were to start, it could very well be successful given the number of fans the MMO already has.

The Asia MMORPG Blade and Soul introduces a new class, the Pactierer. A trailer is now presenting it.
Blade and Soul has a whole lot of updates in store. That’s the advantage when the game has been on the market in Korea for so long: you start with a full hand and can continually add more when the release is hot.
In Asia, it was said at the time that the class would be introduced to attract “young players” in particular. They may be especially susceptible to the mystery touch, while alternative classes like the Summoner are rather cute.

The game world of the anime Sword Art Online could soon become virtual reality – IBM is working on an implementation of the series success.
Dive into Aincrad
IBM has now announced a new project. With the name “Sword Art Online: The Beginning Project“, tears of joy should immediately well up in the eyes of every anime fan.
The anime is set in the future and deals with the video game “Sword Art Online”, where players can completely immerse themselves in the game world and control their characters using their thoughts. During this time, their thoughts are entirely trapped in the game, and their bodies in the real world are immobile. When the “Logout” button is missing in SAO, 10,000 players find themselves in a suddenly very brutal game for their own lives – because if the avatar dies in the game world, the player also loses their life in reality.
The “game”, as one might say, is being developed in collaboration with Kadokawa, Bandai Namco, and Aniplex, who are responsible for the anime of the same name and have also engaged the original voice actors of Kirito and Asuna.
While not much is known about the project yet, IBM is indeed attempting to make “Cognitive Computing” more practical for the future – that is, the ability to simulate human thoughts and allow computers to “learn” how a human reacts to problems and social situations.
At least in the trailer, it looks more like “only” a virtual reality with VR glasses and motion sensors. For the period between March 18th and 20th, they are already looking for 208 testers in the Greater Tokyo area to try out the basic concept.

Mein-MMO says: This is of course still to be approached with some caution. Even though the goals like “Cognitive Computing” sound incredibly good, it will probably take a few more years until that becomes reality. Just the thought of being able to experience the world of Kirito and Asuna in VR already makes every anime and VR fan jump for joy. If we are lucky, there might actually be a Logout button this time.

Ubisoft has high expectations for the launch of Tom Clancy’s The Division. According to John Parkes, the most successful launch of a new title may be ahead.
The Division is currently on everyone’s lips. Anyone interested was able to take a look at Ubisoft’s upcoming MMO shooter in the past days and form their own opinion about it. At the moment, nothing seems to stop the hype around this game.
Parkes highlights the various features that distinguish The Division: RPG, shooter, MMO, realistic setting in a beautifully recreated New York, and a great open world that can be played solo or co-op. Therefore, the game could have a very successful launch as a new title.
The hype around The Division is enormous
He adds that the trailers for The Division generated over 225 million views; that’s 30% more than the trailer views for Watch Dogs – about the same time before release.
Furthermore, Ubisoft is overwhelmed by the interest of players in The Division: the closed beta of the game had more registrations than all Ubisoft games before. Additionally, the number of players Ubisoft expected in the closed beta was exceeded threefold.
