Currently, the first cards can be admired, with an introduction made by a trailer that is already available in German. Enjoy the trailer, we will address the details of the expansion separately later, as only a few cards are known so far. It is reasonable to assume that Blizzard will gradually introduce and reveal the remaining cards over the next six to eight weeks.
We looked at the 20 best MMOs on Steam. Take a look at the list and the individual ratings here.
Steam has long ceased to be a platform for individual shooters and has become the world’s largest supplier of games. Numerous MMOs can now also be found in Valve’s distribution platform offering. We have listed the 20 successful MMO games on Steam for you (as of early March 2016).
In selecting this list, we put together a mix of the most played games and the biggest sales hits of the past weeks. We reviewed the first 50 results and included only games classified as “MMO”.
It’s important to mention that the game doesn’t necessarily have to be classified as a classic MMO but should primarily feature extensive and long-lasting multiplayer modes. The results were sorted by the number of positive user reviews.
Place 20: Elite: Dangerous
With “only” 65% positive reviews, Elite: Dangerous ranks 20th on this list. The space MMO realizes the “Open World” principle to a whole new extent. “Open Galaxy” is more fitting here, as players can explore numerous planets and uncover the entire Milky Way with all its secrets – once they get past the starting phase since in the beginning one only has a miserable spaceship and a few credits.

The dino survival game “ARK: Survival Evolved” secures the 19th place with 73% positive reviews. Relatively unexpectedly, it has become an absolute bestseller in the past year, even though the game is still in an early access phase. Players can gather resources on a vast island, tame dinosaurs, form entire tribes, and build bases to live in peaceful coexistence with other players – or to ruthlessly bully them.

The online spin-off of the Elder Scrolls series and thus the indirect successor to “Skyrim”, The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, finds itself in 18th place, with 77% positive reviews. Since the launch of the game, a lot has happened, as it has now moved away from the subscription model, so monthly fees are no longer required. Like typical MMORPGs, in the world of Tamriel you can engage in many different activities. Whether professions, PvE, PvP, or even theft, there’s always something else to experience, and fans of the series will particularly immerse themselves in the lore of the game world.

Just a few weeks ago, Warhammer 40.000: Eternal Crusade entered early access on Steam. Currently, it still feels more like a lobby shooter, but the developers promise that this will only be the case during the early testing phase as the shooter elements will be the lion’s share of the game and only when they work correctly will they add the large game world around it and practically integrate the MMO components. With 78%, the game from the 41st millennium already ranks 17th.

At least a proud 78% approval rating has secured Defiance. The MMO shooter convinces with an exciting story (which has recently been expanded) and attracts thousands of players every day to the remnants of planet Earth, where players battle for mysterious alien technology and constantly try to get a little more out of themselves and their equipment. Special rewards at 5 and 7 victories include gloves and the sniper rifle for the players.

This is pretty much the least-kept secret in the gaming industry right now, that it is likely a new card expansion for Hearthstone. So, it is likely that there will be a new type of “card pack” coming, containing about 120-140 new cards that you can acquire gradually.
The community is helping Carbine a bit by creating a trailer for WildStar’s next update “Arkterra”. Check out the video here.
A Fan Trailer for Fans
Although it will still take a while until the new area Arkterra goes live in WildStar, community member and YouTuber Quontom has already taken some work off Carbine’s hands by creating his own trailer for the upcoming content update. In this, he introduces the namesake area “Arkterra”, shares some lore, and explains how players can obtain the numerous rewards available there, as this can happen in various ways.
You can either “casually quest” or team up in smaller groups to defeat the various bosses of the area. Gradually, the enemies become bigger and more powerful, ensuring that even entire raid groups will find their challenge.
The patches for Evolve are going into spring break – in summer they will fundamentally revise the game. We have the known details so far.
Spring break for Evolve – big patch in summer
Since the release of Kala and the Elder Kraken, things have been a bit quieter around the 4v1 monster shooter Evolve. Now it has also been announced in the game’s official forum that they will put the patches on hold for a while. Not because they are not supporting the game any further, but because there will be a major overhaul in summer that will not only rearrange the game’s balance but also change numerous mechanics to make the matches more balanced and enjoyable for everyone involved.
Gradually, they are already announcing the planned changes in the forum – because the developers are still diligently responding to the community’s questions.
The Wraith will receive a significant overhaul of its abilities. Above all, “Decoy” will be revised: The Wraith will no longer be cloaked, and player attacks will no longer break the Decoy – it is now an effective and offensive aid in combat.
Jetpacks will be noticeably revised. It should now be easier to get 4 complete evades from a full tank. Until now, only 3 were possible, as evading consumes a bit more energy.
The medic Lazarus will be revised. His revival glove will have a long cooldown, and hunters will now receive a “Strike” (i.e., reduced max HP) when he revives them from death. If he brings them back from a downed state, they will not receive a penalty.
The talent points for monsters will be altered. The first point of an ability teaches the attack itself, the 2nd point increases utility (radius, speed), and only the 3rd point increases the damage of an ability.
Whether all these changes will go live as planned is still uncertain. There is no fixed release date for version 9.0.0 yet, but they are aiming for the “upcoming summer” – sometime between July and September. Whether this will also involve another season pass or at least the implementation of further adaptations is also not yet clarified. A list of all previously announced changes can be found in our sources.

First, he proudly presents the beard of his character (1:40). Then he shows the really exciting things, namely his inventory. He presents the DPS values of his weapons (over 41,000) and his health (43,474). His skill power is at 14,609; he is trying to improve it, as skills are extremely useful, especially in PvE. In the Dark Zone, however, he focuses on stamina.
Would this high-end also be something for you?
The weapons he uses will not be listed individually. You can check them out yourself starting at 5:10. This includes the high-end pistol “Damascus”, which has a cool weapon skin.
These skills are used by the max-level agent
A look at the skills reveals that he is a big fan of turrets in PvE. They are not only valuable for dealing damage but mainly for keeping enemies under control so they don’t rush at you.
Furthermore, he uses cover as a skill to find protection. This reinforces the cover. Additionally, it increases the user’s damage while reducing the damage done to all allies behind cover.
The recovery link is active as a signature skill. This skill heals you and your nearby allies. It revives downed allies within range and can even restore more than the maximum health (“Overheal”).What do you think of this max-level agent build? Can you top it with your own?
The military MMO World of Tanks improves tank driving behavior on PC with patch 9.14.
As Wargaming proudly announces, with 9.14 a new layer of polish is added to its tanks. Thus, the newly released patch aims to improve the physics of vehicle movement, allowing players to knock over enemy vehicles and take corners better.
The MMORPG Albion Online integrates a new dungeon mechanic designed to satisfy fans of classic open-world dungeons and instances.
In classic dungeons of an MMORPG, you are grouped together with all other players who have entered it. This creates a feeling that the dungeon is truly part of the game world, but it also brings some problems.
Monster groups or bosses form lines, known as respawn camping. All players wait for the enemies to finally respawn, so that the next group can take down the mob. Additionally, other players can spoil the fun by “spoiling” what else lurks in the dungeon. Disputes over loot can also arise.
Open-world dungeon and instance in one!
Instances, on the other hand, allow for coordinated group play and careful exploration of the dungeon without interruptions. However, this is detached and separate from the rest of the world.
In Albion Online, they aim to connect these two mechanics together. So far, there are the classic dungeons as well as the so-called hellgates that lead to instances. Additionally, new “gateway dungeons” can also be found in the game.
These are classic open-world dungeons where you will be adventuring with many other players. In the dungeon, you will find the gatekeeper. If you defeat this entity, a gate will open that leads to an instance where you will encounter dangerous monsters, but you can also obtain very valuable loot.
A gateway always allows five players to pass through. This gives the developers of Albion Online the ability to customize the instance for that specific group so that they have a particularly exciting experience. The gateways have been received so well by the fans of the MMORPG Albion Online that the developers will gradually replace the older dungeons with these gateways.

Blizzard has placed a lot of value on how players can customize their characters with wings, cosmetics, and new companions in the new patch 2.4.1 for Diablo 3.
Special wings, visually refreshed sets, and new companions are the highlights on the test servers of Diablo 3. Until now, the selection of visual enhancements for Diablo 3 characters has been rather limited and monotonous. Now you can even look like a Terran from Starcraft.
Cosmetics have been diligently collected in the forum
In a thread in the official Diablo 3 forum, a player has invited their teammates to post various new cosmetics that can be found while playing. Here are some of the current highlights:
Butterfly Wings – Overboss Maghda
Terran Helm
Yeti Companion
These are just a few of the visual options to upgrade your characters in the new patch. You can find the Battle.Net thread on this topic here: Battle.net Thread

Today there was a patch for the old classic, which stabilized the game for newer operating systems. Furthermore, more will be done against cheaters and hackers. It’s somehow nice to see that they still care about such an old game and its community – points for the developers from my side.

Currently, maintenance is taking place in the Asia MMORPG Black Desert on March 11th. This will change with today’s patch.
This morning, maintenance has been running for Black Desert, and the servers are offline – they should be back online by 3:00 PM. By then, the maintenance work for Black Desert should be completed.
Publisher Daum is currently deploying a patch that fixes some annoying issues. It was originally scheduled for next week, but due to urgent reasons, it has been moved forward. It’s probably related to gold sellers.
Among other things, the following changes will take place:
The character limit in chat will be increased to 350 characters.
In the marketplace, capitalization will no longer matter to find the right item.
The knowledge window can now be opened at any time.
The issue with the Liverto Staff for wizards has been fixed – the staff was previously missing because it was part of the Mediah update in Korea.
Gold Sellers’ Exploit Will Be Closed
The most important reason for the patch was an exploit that allowed gold sellers to continue their “profession”. This should not be possible with Black Desert’s systems. However, they apparently found a way: the gold seller purchased healing potions, gave them to the “gold buyer” in-game, and the buyer could sell them to an NPC for silver profit.
With today’s patch, traded items will be bound to characters and cannot be traded anymore.
Further changes that today’s patch brings will be added later. Fans are especially inquiring about changes in class balance.

In The Division, high-end items are the rarest and most sought-after items in the game. We will show you a tip on how to get these high-ends faster.
In The Division, it’s all about weapons, gear, and other items that you should constantly use to enhance your agent. High-end items are highly valued, as they are not only the rarest but also the best items in the game.
High-Ends through Scavenging
YouTuber Arekkz now gives us a tip on how to find better loot in The Division. However, he cannot guarantee a specific number of high-end drops within a certain timeframe, nor does he know a location where you can find many high-ends. The tip relies on a passive bonus that you may have overlooked until now.
This bonus is called Scavenging and carries the catchy name “Lumpensammeln” in German. To access it, go to your inventory, then to the “Character” tab and then to the “Exploration” category. Other categories would be, for example, “Primary Attributes,” “Weapons,” or “Combat.” But scroll down to “Exploration.” There you will find “Lumpensammeln.” This bonus increases the chance of finding more and better objects. This applies both inside and outside the Dark Zone.
How do I increase the Scavenging value?
You can increase this passive bonus with armor pieces that raise this value. The higher this value, the better the bonus works. This means for you: a higher chance of high-end drops. If you currently have no equipment at hand that raises the value of this bonus, you can modify the armor pieces at the improvement station. We have illustrated how the improvement station works in this article.
How often do high-ends drop now?
According to Arekkz, there are currently no specific numbers on how the chance for high-ends increases depending on the Scavenging value. He can only speak from his own experience: After increasing his Scavenging value to +104%, his loot has significantly improved. About in the same time frame, after the conscious increase of this value, he received 6 times as many high-end items as before.
The loot is completely random, but with the help of this bonus, you can somewhat force your luck. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee. If you haven’t discovered this bonus yet, you might want to give it a try.

In endgame battles, this bonus shouldn’t be your first choice: here you should rather rely on bonuses that enhance your agent. But to obtain better weapons and gear pieces, “Lumpensammeln” should be worthwhile from time to time. It resembles “Magic Find Gear” from loot-based games.

In ArcheAge , a final warning has been issued against cheaters and botters – a new program is now active. We have the details.
For the next violation, permanent ban – without mercy
The community manager of ArcheAge, Celestrata, announced in the official game forum that a new program for detection and identification has been active for several weeks, allowing cheating players to be tracked down. Those who have already been caught by the program using third-party software, such as bots, hacks, and other cheat tools, have received a final warning in the form of an email.
Celestrata clearly states that any cheaters will be mercilessly banned from the game from now on – regardless of how much time and money they have already invested in the game. People with multiple accounts should not feel safe either, as the team can now easily trace the connection to the player’s main account – and this account will also be subjected to the sanction.
“We don’t like banning people from the game who are having fun, but creating a fair gaming environment for our players has always been and will always be our top priority.”
Server could soon be a bit emptier – cheaters and hackers will be rigorously banned.
In the corresponding forum post, the community reacts with mixed feelings. While a large part of the players welcome that something is being done against botters and hackers, another part wonders why these people are even being given a second chance after they have already made use of such programs. Celestrata responds to this as well:
“Do not see this as a second chance, but as a last chance. From here on, we will enforce our policies regarding permanent bans, regardless of how much someone has invested in the game.”
In our today’s “Mein-MMO asks” we want to focus on the shared-world shooter The Division. How do you like Ubisoft’s latest title so far?
Currently, the gaming scene is all about The Division, whose launch was just a few days ago. Since then, we have been trying to quench the players’ thirst for knowledge with a variety of guides and news. New impressions are coming at the players fast.
In this “Mein-MMO asks” we now want to calm down a bit and discuss with you how you like the game so far.
What have you found positive so far?
Before you have to read a questionable critique from a Mein-MMO author, we thought we would just ask you how The Division is received by the agents. I must admit, though, that I myself have not yet reached the max level 30. I waste way too much time taking everything in slowly and immersing myself in every detail of the game.
Perhaps I am a bit old-fashioned, but it’s more likely that a camel passes through the eye of a needle than I would rush through the story in a day. Given the numerous agents already proudly displaying their max-level characters and receiving astonished looks, I probably still belong to the few enjoyers out there. And I think there’s a lot to enjoy in The Division.
One thing that stands out to me positively is the attention to detail. I really often stop and examine some stickers, piles of garbage, signs, shop windows, and especially the graffiti that is scattered throughout New York.
With the gameplay of the “cover shooter” I am now also getting along. I have now set aside my initial skepticism on this matter; until now, I was rather used to first-person shooters. But looking at the action from the “third perspective” definitely has its appeal – how long that lasts remains to be seen.
But enough about me, what positive aspects have you noticed? How do you find the story, and if you have already been in the Dark Zone, how do you find the PvP area of the full version?
What have you found negative so far?
Unfortunately, I have to say that my journey started off quite bumpy. I had to count myself among the poor agents who had already failed at the activation in the safehouse in Brooklyn. Since this problem was only solved after a long time, my mood was directly dampened. Otherwise, I wouldn’t want to complain further. From time to time, I had a kick from the servers, which was fixed by logging back in. But fundamentally, I am looking forward to my continued journey as an agent in post-apocalyptic New York. I am steadily getting closer to max level 30 – slowly but surely.
What criticisms can you raise against the game so far? Are you already engaged in endgame activities?
This is an AI-powered translation. Some inaccuracies might exist.
There probably won’t be much new information. The current plan is to present the “Spring Update” in a series of live streams. They have invited a clan for next week and will discuss the mode Rift.
But first, let’s get to Xur.
All about Xur in Destiny on March 11th, 12th, and 13th.
When does Xur come to the Tower and when does he leave again?
Xur arrives on Friday, March 11th, at 10:00 AM in the Tower. Stay there all Saturday, and he leaves the world of Destiny again on Sunday, March 13th, also at 10:00 AM.
Where is Xur?
Xur is located in the Hangar of the Tower.

The card game Magic The Gathering is being relaunched in digital form. We have the details known so far for you.
Magic Digital Next aims to attract casuals and pros
Anyone who wants to talk about TCGs, whether in digital or physical form, cannot avoid Magic The Gathering. Hasbro has now decided to develop a completely new game. Gameplay-wise, it should be a bridge between the complex Magic Online and the much more accessible Magic Duels. The name of the new project is Magic Digital Next. The target audience is obviously the same that Hearthstone has in mind. They want to enable an easy entry for everyone, but also create room for professional players.
However, fans should not get too excited just yet, as it will probably take a few years before the game actually appears. The official statement even says: “We are currently investing in this project, and we have assembled a team that will deliver the first new Magic Digital Next product in the next few years.”
Mein-MMO says: Since Hearthstone has broken all records in the field of digital card games, it is not surprising that other developers are also jumping on the bandwagon. So what could be more fitting than to dress the mother of all TCGs in a new guise as well? At least many professional players of Hearthstone have roots in Magic and will certainly be interested in a new implementation. It remains to be seen how the game – and the entire market around it – will develop in the coming years.

Thursday night there was a live stream at Bungie. For this reason, the community letter “This Week At Bungie” is postponed to Friday. We will cover the stream in a separate article. The video documentary “Sounds of Destiny” was presented before the stream. We would like to present it to you.

So many people, talents, and machines come together to make Destiny sound as it does
It is fascinating how many fields of expertise and talented individuals must come together to create the soundscape in every single situation. And what equipment is used! Sound designers spoke about being in machine halls to capture the sounds of the stamping machines to later create the footsteps of the Vex.
Actors like Nathan Fillion and Bill Nighy gave insights into the voice work that relies solely on voice acting. Fillion voices the rascal Cayde-6. Bill Nighy demonstrated how he recorded lines for the Speaker with gestures. Even the most hated alien in the game, the exotic trader Xur, has now received a “face.”
The third aspect to admire was the game’s music. It was intriguing to see how many influences each team member contributes to the mix to develop the game further and add new nuances. The music also changes over time. While the original Destiny leaned toward something more grand and classical, with The Taken King it took another direction.
A fan described it as “Marilyn Mansom meets EDM,” while a Bungie employee noted the music on the Moon resembles “Nine Inch Nails.” No idea what that exactly means, but that seems to be how music professionals speak to each other.
At the end of the impressive documentary, the impression is: everything is in flux and a huge team project involving dozens of experts in their fields. Even they still don’t know where they want to go with it, but they don’t see that as a disadvantage. The journey is the destination, and it’s all quite impressive.

In The Division crafting plays an important role. With it, you can create items yourself. We summarize in this guide what you should know about it.
In the operations base of The Division, there are all kinds of stations and devices that you have to get used to their functionalities. We present the crafting station.
Where can I craft items in The Division?
You can start crafting items very early in the game: As soon as you arrive in Manhattan and have visited the operations base, you will find the crafting station near the entrance. Just walk over to the table, which is conveniently marked as “Crafting Station”, and hold the square or x button to start crafting items in The Division after a short animation.
What can I craft?
Basically, you can craft everything except clothing. From weapons to weapon mods to armor pieces, everything is possible.
What materials do I need for crafting and where do I get them?
To craft items, you need materials, i.e., basic components from which the item is assembled. By disassembling certain items, you will receive the following materials:
Weapon parts: You get these by disassembling weapons.
Fabric: You get fabric from disassembling armor pieces.
Tools: You obtain these by disassembling weapon mods.
Electronics: You get this by disassembling gear mods.
It is advisable not to sell these items but to save the valuable materials by disassembling them.
All these materials can also be found in the game world.
Important: There is also the option of material conversion! Here, you can create a higher-quality material from your materials at a ratio of 5:1. From 5 greens, you can thus craft a blue material and from five blues, a high-end material.
Where do I get blueprints?
You need blueprints to manufacture items. Here’s how to get them:
You get blueprints from side missions. You can already see on the map which of them will trigger the respective mission. After completing the mission, you will receive the blueprint.
“Gold prints” can be obtained from Dark Zone vendors. Depending on the seller, you can acquire these with DZ currency or Phoenix Credits. You can see what Phoenix Credits are here.
How many materials does crafting cost?
The number of materials crafting costs depends on the quality of the item.
Green items cost you five pieces of the respective material. For example, a weapon costs five weapon parts.
Blue items cost you, depending on the item, three pieces of the primary resource and one secondary resource.
Yellow / gold items: Here it gets really expensive. A yellow weapon costs five primary and three secondary materials, plus three “Division-Tech”.It is recommended to use crafting intensively only later in the game. After all, a weapon at level 30 costs the same as a weapon at level 5, which quickly becomes worthless. So have patience and use the early game primarily to gather materials.
The latest chapter of the story in Star Wars: The Old Republic is now live. Fight alongside Major Aric Jorgan behind enemy lines!
Into Enemy Territory with Aric Jorgan
As of today, March 10th, the Early Access for the latest “Knights of the Fallen Empire” chapter of SWTOR has ended, and all subscribers can dive into Chapter 11 “Denial”. Without wanting to reveal too much, you will encounter Major Aric Jorgan from Havoc Squad, whom soldier players should remember from their class missions during this mission. The Eternal Empire of Zakuul still has a tight grip on the galaxy, and you must advance far behind enemy lines alongside Jorgan to complete a crucial operation.

Additionally, as has become customary with monthly updates, there are numerous changes to the professions that have recently been made more useful. Many craftable items between item levels 200 and 218 now have the correct values. Lastly, a critical issue has been fixed that prevented Imperial Agents from completing Chapter 10 “Anarchy in Paradise”.
Aside from that, the patch also brings back two in-game events that will be active at the following times and offer new opportunities for the coveted rewards.
