The 10th class in Blade and Soul will be the Gunslinger – level cap increases to 60
The new class actually looks like a “Gunslinger,” a gunslinger who wields two firearms simultaneously and can enhance attacks through Chi.
More information about the new class and what we can expect to see will surely come soon. The name “Gunslinger” seems to have been agreed upon by the English-speaking community – there were some issues with the last class.
Additionally, the level cap in Blade and Soul is expected to increase to 60 – a major new content update is due in Korea. They are taking the opportunity to transition the game from a subscription model to a free-to-play model, according to Asia expert Steparu. Well, that is not so exciting for us – the Western version has always operated as a free-to-play title.
We here in Europe will have to wait a while longer until we can also enjoy the 10th class of Blade and Soul.

Everyone knows them: glitches and bugs. Many of them are just annoying because they severely affect the gaming experience or even force a restart. In exactly two weeks, this year’s PlayStation Experience kicks off. This convention lasts for two days (December 3rd and 4th) and is a popular stage for publishers and developers to make important announcements and unveil future plans. The PS Experience takes place in Anaheim, California.
In the last “This Week at Bungie”, the community manager DeeJ hinted that some Destiny developers would be packing their bags for Anaheim in two weeks. However, the details of this mission remain secret. But one thing is certain: Bungie will be present at the PlayStation Experience and will have something to say. The only question is: What?

Last year, Bungie was also present at the event, and the curious community feverishly speculated in advance about what the developers might have to announce. Hopes were high for a new DLC, for the next big thing in Destiny. By December 2015, little was known about the “Year 2” plan.
The Guardians were able to engage in exhilarating races on Mars and Venus, master new heist missions, and open their wallets at Tess Everis. The charming Amanda Holliday was the contact person for the wild racing.
It is therefore likely that Bungie will also use the PlayStation Experience this year to promote the SRL. However, some Guardians and even English-speaking gaming sites speculate that Bungie might have chosen this “big event” for a “big announcement”. A surprising DLC or even the first official content tidbits for Destiny 2, which will be released in 2017. However, it might be wiser to temper expectations and cautiously look forward to early December.
While we had to look blindly into the future at the end of 2015 with no plans for 2016 available, Bungie had already laid out the rough guidelines for the rest of 2016 back in August this year. Another SRL is scheduled to come in December. Hence, we modestly assume that only this Sparrow event will be presented at the PS Experience. Everything else would be a surprise.
What can be expected from the SRL 2016?
Two things are officially known: The upcoming racing league is set to start in December and will be bigger than last year. Also, the Guardians who are not fans of racing will be occupied this time. In what form, we do not yet know.
However, events in Destiny are generally welcome: They bring variety and new items to obtain and collect. But the Festival of the Lost from a few weeks ago received critical feedback. Guardians accused Bungie of providing no new content, but just more ways to extract money from Guardians’ pockets. It focused too much on microtransactions.
Therefore, in recent days, it has been read more often on Reddit that the SRL event should please stay away from this Eververse madness. An event meant for the Guardians, not for Bungie to go into the Christmas break with fat bags of money. That’s what we hope for.

Players who exploited the artifact power exploit in WoW will face not only a ban but also an additional penalty from Blizzard.
In the past few days, there was a bug in World of Warcraft that allowed players to complete a world quest multiple times. By repeatedly completing this quest, it was possible to earn several thousand artifact power within just a few minutes. Many players took advantage of this bug and increased their artifact power dramatically. Initially, Blizzard only mentioned a ban for these players. However, the second penalty that the exploiters would face has now been revealed.
This much artifact power is worth a ban!
The first penalty for exploiting this bug is a temporary ban from Blizzard. The problem with this penalty is that it is not harsh enough. Many players have decided that they are willing to accept a ban in exchange for such a significant amount of artifact power.
Entire raids were cancelled so that players could exploit the bug and thereby raise their artifact power into the millions. In just a few hours, one could farm such a high amount of artifact power that normally would take months to achieve. For many players, risking a ban was simply worth it. However, there is a catch.
What comes around goes around
After some players were angry about the “light” punishment for the exploiters and communicated that to Blizzard on social media, Blizzard announced new information. Via Twitter, they confirmed that the farmed artifact power would be taken away from the “bad” exploiters. This meant that the time they spent exploiting this bug was completely wasted.

If you only tried this exploit 2-3 times to get yourself “a bit more” artifact power, you probably do not need to expect a penalty. This specifically concerns players who have exploited the bug excessively.
On Reddit, the mood after this announcement was at an all-time high. Users were especially pleased about the “justice” that the second part of the penalty brings to the exploiters. Whether the removal of the artifact power was planned long ago or was decided after the “shitstorm” from the community is unclear.

Rumors about hot games are absolutely common, but rarely true
Generally, it is said among some journalists that the credibility of a rumor becomes less important the more spectacular it is and the more clicks it promises. This explains why so many rumors circulate about successful titles, while the rumor mill stays cold for flops.
That said, we have once dismissed a rumor as absolute nonsense that later turned out to be true. In Destiny, someone once caught wind that there would soon be free DLCs and that they were replacing the voice of the ghost.
Sounded totally unbelievable back in the summer of 2015, but turned out to be absolutely correct months later. Although: These two details were correct. For other things, Ahamkara as an enemy or the NPC Osiris, people still wait in vain. But Destiny 2 is still a while away…
Could the action MMORPG Marvel Heroes soon be released for PlayStation 4?
Signs are increasing that Marvel Heroes could eventually land on PS4. The action MMORPG had a rough start on PC, but over time it has developed into a real hit, somewhat like the story of Bruce Banner and the Hulk, only without the tantrums, but with a lot of hard work.

In the new “Pokémon GO” update, the developers have addressed issues in the game.
The roll-out for the new update 0.47.1 for Android and 1.17.0 for iOS has started. Roll-out means that the update will be activated gradually for certain regions. So, we may still have to wait a bit for the update here in Germany. A specific date for the release in Germany is not yet known.

Pokémon GO: Is the next event already hidden?
At first glance, this update seems to be intended only for bug fixes. However, even the last update 0.45.0 gave no hints that shortly after a bonus event with additional rewards started. On Reddit, there is speculation about a possible Thanksgiving event, the preparations of which might be in this patch. However, there is currently no solid evidence for this, only assumptions.
In Destiny , players are mocking the recent statements from Bungie about matchmaking in PvP.
On Thursday night our time there was the last “This week at bungie”, where they let people peek behind the scenes – well, at least that’s what they say. This time, Community Manager DeeJ gave Crucible experts a voice. They brought up the sensitive topic of “matchmaking” in PvP. Contrary to usual, they remained anonymous. They probably knew exactly what kind of backlash they would face when commenting on the number one hot topic .
Five steps to the perfect Crucible match – Bungie’s matchmaking rules
According to the “Matchmaking Quality Overlord Team” (quote from DeeJ) at Destiny, the connection quality of the Guardians takes top priority when forming teams that will battle it out in the Crucible.
First, they determine the pool of players with whom “you” have a good connection,
then they check the skill level.
If they cannot find suitable players, they increase the variance in skill level
and only if that doesn’t work, they also consider players that lead to a poor connection quality.
Once all of this is done, they assign players to evenly matched teams.
All in all: Connection quality is always the most important, enjoying top priority in matchmaking, that’s on their radar.
No one believes them
Sounds plausible – but many Guardians don’t believe the promises and are now mocking it heavily.
One Twitter user recognized the problem. A matchmaking that considers connection quality is a myth. For more information, one only needs to bury their head in the sand and look for the error code “Ostrich”. So they accuse Bungie of burying their head in the sand, ignoring the problems, and waiting it out.
Another Guardian illustrates matchmaking with a nice graphic, in which he retraces Bungie’s individual steps. But why does he end up with a lagger and a bunch of noobs in a match against five African Destiny pros with dark red connection quality? Hm!

Groovy666 thinks it’s “total nonsense” that skill-based matchmaking does not have high priority.
Gooseman23 believes that since the ELO system comes from chess and requires logic, Bungie can’t handle it.
And dh thinks all of this is a lie, that matchmaking is messed up. One can only do nothing about it since everyone is already busy with Destiny 2.
Somehow there has been a worm in the works for months
There are also serious contributions on the topic. They point out that Bungie evidently did not know for a while what they were doing. Because while Derek Caroll, the man behind the Trials of Osiris, insisted that Bungie had not changed anything in matchmaking, his boss Lars Bakken already admitted that they are now focusing less on connection quality and more on matching skill.
The weeks that followed were marked by terrible lags in the Crucible. Since then, this has been a constant topic, although there have been severe lags in Destiny’s PvP before.
