In Destiny the name “The Dawning” gives our author Schuhmann headaches.
When Bungie presented the new update for December at the PlayStation Experience, I had to write this. Originally, Ttime was supposed to take over, but he just mumbled “Last Guardian – wooooah” and “Last of Us 2 – aaaaaah,” was lying in the corner with foam at the mouth, staring up.
Bungie had just shown a trailer live, and I immediately went to YouTube and looked for the German version on Destiny’s channel. The guys are quick; I knew that from before: 50 seconds after the trailer aired in Anaheim, it was on YouTube in German. And I cheerfully wrote “Destiny announces update for December – The Dawning of the Iron Lords – The Dawning!”

“The Dawning of the Iron Lords” instead of “Rise of Iron” was already no feather in the cap, but now “The Dawning?” Really?
Where I come from, “The Dawning” is what one would say about a broken barrel of beer. Or for all I care: “Is the arm completely broken now?” – “No, it’s just a dawning!” But I would never have thought of calling the dawn “Dawning”.
The Dawning? Worse than “Butterfly!”
Just look at how the update is called in other languages:
English: “The Dawning”
Italian: “L’Aurora”
French: “l’Avènement”
Portuguese: “A Alvorada”
Poetry! And what about us?
German: “The Dawning.” Oh, it gives me chills. It’s like with “Butterfly” – everyone else has a nice name for the creature: Butterfly and Mariposa – and we say “BUTTERFLY” – as if one had to shout it on a battlefield to drown out the hail of grenades.

Admittedly, this is a serious issue faced by the German translator of Destiny. The title means “a waking, an awakening” and uses the dawn as a metaphor. When a new morning begins, when something fresh happens, a new era begins. In English, “The Dawning” is the dawn. A nice short word.
In German, however, it is more complicated; it doesn’t work like that. Because “Dämmerung” refers to both evening twilight (when it gets dark) and morning twilight (when it gets light). Just writing “The Dawning of the Iron Lords – the twilight” would be misleading. “The Dawning of the Iron Lords – the dawn” is right, but too long.
It is not the first time that translators have faced the problem of getting “The Dawn” over into German: How did they do it? They kept their hands off!
That’s why the title of the horror film “From Dusk till Dawn” has simply been left as it is in German, and they didn’t start with “From the twilight to the twilight.” “Breaking Dawn,” the thing with sparkling vampires, has been called “Breaking Dawn – Bite to the End of the Night” in German.
And what is the name of the game in question? “Destiny” and not “Fate.” So if nothing nice comes to your mind, dear translators – next time just keep your hands off, okay?
There are also nice things to tell about “The Dawning”:
Last Saturday, December 10th, the largest battle in the history of the space MMORPG EVE Online took place, in which the first Keepstar was officially destroyed.
The battle for the Keepstar of the player alliance Circle of Two was so immense that it had to be conducted in two stages. The first fight took place on December 4th, when Pandemic Legion and Northern Coalition battled against Circle of Two. Approximately 4,400 ships participated in this skirmish. Circle of Two was defeated, but the Keepstar, the Death Star-like citadel of the alliance, withstood the attack thanks to a powerful super weapon. Since there is a time limit in the game during which a Keepstar can be attacked, its destruction had to be postponed.
A New Record in EVE Online
The second part of the battle, which will go down in the history of the MMO as the “Battle at the M-O Keepstar”, took place on Saturday, December 10th.
As news spread that a Keepstar would be destroyed, between 5,300 and 5,700 players participated in this fight. This led to a time lag of about ten percent. The events were thus only proceeding at one-tenth of normal speed. Despite this significant lag, the Keepstar fell after an almost two-hour battle. Even the spectacular explosion of the citadel lasted several minutes.
The M-O Keepstar is the first to be officially destroyed. Although there had been previous destruction of such a citadel, it was reportedly destroyed through unscrupulous means and therefore does not count officially. Allegedly, the construction of the space fortress cost around 300 billion ISK. In real money, it is estimated that Circle of Two invested about 10,000 US dollars to build the citadel. The attackers subsequently celebrated loot worth around 2.7 billion ISK.
The Largest Battle of the Year
Although the Keepstar was already battered from the battle on December 4th and Circle of Two was fundamentally defeated, the citadel still held firmly. The defenders received help from the TEST Alliance. Hundreds of spacecraft were destroyed, and the shipwrecks were scattered kilometers across the entire solar system. The “Battle at the M-O Keepstar” was thus the most spectacular space battle that players of the MMORPG EVE Online could experience this year. You can watch a video of the destruction of the Keepstar here.
A man in California embezzled 4.8 million dollars from his employer. He invested 1 million in a browser game.
A 45-year-old man from Rocklin, California, has pleaded guilty to fraud and money laundering: He embezzled 4.8 million US dollars from his employer. This occurred from 2008 to 2015.
He spent most of the money on fast cars, NBA season tickets for the Sacramento Kings, and furniture. However, one million also went into “Game of War,” a game similar to Clash of Clans.

Rogues, Death Knights, Mages, and Demon Hunters in WoW will die more often. Their “Second Chance” talents will be nerfed.
The Patch 7.1.5 of World of Warcraft is currently on the PTR and changes are rolling out almost daily on the servers. In the latest update, the cooldown of a popular mechanic has been increased. “Cloak of Shadows” from the Rogue now has a cooldown of 6 minutes. For those unfamiliar with the effect: Whenever the Rogue would die from damage, the damage is instead avoided and they receive a strong damage reduction for a short time. This effect could previously be triggered every 2 minutes, but now it is only available every 6 minutes.
However, the Rogue is not the only one affected. Mages (Cauterize) and all other classes with a similar mechanic will also have to deal with an increase in cooldown time in the future.
Blizzard justifies this step by stating that the abilities have become far too reliable. In some boss fights, you could even “Depend on it every time,” which would render some mechanics obsolete.
Moreover, “Cloak of Shadows” is far too powerful compared to “similar” mechanics, such as Reincarnation from the Shaman – which has a cooldown of 30 minutes. There is simply no justification for Rogues, Mages, Death Knights, and Demon Hunters to receive a “second chance” so often. Back when the talent was introduced with Burning Crusade, it was located at the very end of the talent tree and was a powerful choice. Today, that is simply not the case anymore, which is why they are adjusting its availability.
However, there is also a positive change to the talents: The cooldown will reset immediately if you are supposed to die. This means especially in PvP that the abilities remain frequently available, and even after a death in a dungeon or raid, you can benefit from them right away.
The fantasy MMORPG ArcheAge is experiencing significant issues with the 3.0 restart.
Here in Europe, there were only minor delays and issues with the implementation of 3.0 – it was slightly pushed back on Saturday afternoon, and the restart server “Prophecy” struggled with huge queues. It was also changed at short notice which accounts were allowed on Prophecy. The FAQ stated, “accounts created from December 8”, but they actually needed to be created on or after December 10. However, ArcheAge was running.
In the USA, the launch of 3.0 faced significantly more problems. The servers were then completely closed for a long time. And since they are back online, players have been complaining about crashes and numerous issues. It is unstable.
The latest message from Trion Worlds comes in “just now”, around 9 AM our time – Sunday night US time: They are currently working through it. The message says: We are working with the Korean developer XLGames – there are network issues. Trion Worlds gives players an update every hour – but basically, it just says: We are really working hard on it.
30 hours of night shifts at Trion Worlds
The head of Trion Worlds, Scott Hartsman, has also commented on the issue. It is incredibly frustrating not only for the players but also for the employees. They prepared for the launch for 6 months. No one expected to have to work a 30-hour shift to get ArcheAge NA running.
Trion Worlds CEO Scott Hartsman.
The problem is that ArcheAge NA is simply huge, much larger than ArcheAge EU or any other version of the game. The software they had received was capable of handling the volume of data from all other regions, everything went smoothly even during the test run on the PTS – now, there are these problems with NA.
Hartsman assures that it is not due to a lack of competence. On the contrary, it is thanks to the expertise of the team that it will run at all. As a “publisher”, Trion Worlds is currently doing things that are far beyond what a publisher usually does. But because they also develop games themselves, they can manage it.
They have learned a lot from previous releases and will not stop until the servers are running perfectly.
For many ArcheAge veterans, the situation is a Déjà Vu: In 2014, when the game launched, and later with the major update about “Auroria”, there were similar issues. At the end of 2014, ArcheAge was offline for a while – no one really knew why. In 2015, a “relaunch” to 2.0 had to be repeated. Back then, it was said that a DDoS attack was responsible.
ArcheAge is “front-heavy” – during releases, countless players push onto the servers to gain an advantage in the first minutes and hours.
This is how the restart with 3.0 went for us in Europe:
Underrated and now a true “gamebreaker” – the Dirty Rat from Hearthstone enables truly nasty plays.
The expansion “Gadgetzan Streets” has been live for a few days now, and players have slowly but surely gotten used to the new cards from Hearthstone. However, some cards are more powerful than previously thought.
An exemplary example is the neutral minion Dirty Rat, which brings impressive stats of 2/6 to the board for just 2 mana. It also has the battlecry that forces the opponent to put a random minion from their hand onto the board immediately.
Most Hearthstone experts, i.e., the big streamers and winners of numerous tournaments, rated the Dirty Rat poorly. One or two out of five possible points and only valuable in truly rare situations.
As has often been the case, the pros were significantly mistaken, because the Dirty Rat enables a whole new kind of play. Your opponent has played a Doomcaller and you can’t play any minions because they would die in the next turn? Just play a Dirty Rat and throw in another opponent’s minion – if you’re lucky, the “big guys” get hit.
That this can end both well and poorly is shown in this video from Hearthstone SparkTV. Take the 10 minutes to watch it, it’s worth it!

Cortyn says: I must confess that I initially rated the card very poorly myself, but after having Furorion taken from my hand a few times, my opinion changed. Ultimately, the card has quite a high RNG factor. However, if you know the current meta, you can often guess which cards the opponent still has available. “Taking away” was actually a mechanic that one didn’t want in Hearthstone – now the whole fun of these tactics is revealed.
Does Rizeros look like Godzilla? A funny bug in Pokémon GO makes your Pokémon grow to giant sizes.
Although Pokémon in Pokémon GO are generally limited in size, they can currently exceed the height of skyscrapers. This is due to a bug that temporarily lifts this size restriction. A Magikarp can quickly become a particularly eerie opponent when it lies on 2 PokéStops at the same time. Trainers share their “most interesting” encounters with giant Pokémon on Reddit.
Giant Pokémon in Pokémon GO
This bug reportedly occurs with Buddy Pokémon. When trainers click on their Buddy Pokémon, it appears so large that it takes up almost the entire map.
On the Pokémon GO subreddit, the user CyberWelfare showcased their personal “Godzilla” Pokémon.
Chaaqoti presents their giant Swalot with the title “Lick the Tracker Away”.
The Chansey from HoboMoo is so concerned about the trainer that it completely hides him.
Of course, no Snorlax is missing in this bug. The user AkuuZa shows that Snorlax can easily block multiple streets at once.
A Lapras could become a cruise ship for more than 100 Pokémon trainers with this glitch:
While trainers and players often get upset about the bugs in Pokémon GO, these giant Buddy Pokémon can stay in the game a bit longer. To see these giant Buddy Pokémon in the game yourself, you need a screen recorder. As soon as you click on your Buddy Pokémon, it is only that huge for a fraction of a second. With a screen recorder, you can capture that moment in the video. It is almost impossible to do this with a regular screenshot.
Wildstar is certainly not the most successful game under the sun. However, despite poor numbers, this colorful MMORPG continues in 2017. WildStar director Chad Moore has spoken about the future of the game in the coming year.
With the continuous improvement of WildStar, they want to continue in 2017 and already have some ideas in store. Your heroes will experience exciting adventures on and off Nexus in 2017. In particular, Carbine aims to focus on:

rewarding them appropriately for the time they spend in WildStar
creating new player experiences and keeping things relevant that you already have
Craig Zinkievich previously worked at Crytic Studios on the MMORPG Star Trek Online. However, in November 2015, he founded the game studio Cold Iron with a team of industry veterans. The studio has now been introduced for the first time.
The team consists of individuals with decades of experience in the development of MMO and action titles. This includes games such as Neverwinter, Star Trek Online, Bioshock Infinite, Metroid Prime 3, DOOM, Atlas Reactor, Batman Arkham Origins: Blackgate, and the Borderlands series.
In addition to Craig Zinkievich as CEO, other team members include Shannon Posniewski (City of Heroes/Villains, Champions Online, Star Trek Online, and Neverwinter) as CTO and Matt Highison (Neverwinter, Star Trek Online, and Champions Online) as Creative Director.
First game will be an online action game
The first game is already in development. It is an online action game being developed with the Unreal 4 Engine. Further details about this game will be announced at a later date. However, the game is expected to have AAA qualities.
“We are very pleased to finally present Cold Iron to the world,” said Craig Zinkievich, the founder and CEO of the studio. “When we decided to establish this studio last year, we set the following goal: to develop captivating games that we would love to play anywhere and anytime. To achieve this, we developed a core concept, created a great prototype, secured funding, and are now building an unbeatable team. We are currently working hard on an AAA online action game that will immerse players in a completely new world, and we are looking forward to introducing it to you in the near future.”

In Destiny, fireteams have managed to reach Aksis in the “Wrath of the Machine” raid using a Sparrow.
Several Guardians managed to bring a Sparrow to the final boss of “Wrath of the Machine”. Since you cannot activate a Sparrow in the raid, they had to navigate it through the entire raid from the beginning. For regular Guardians, this is a near-impossible task, especially given the jumping sections.
The Guardians from the YouTube channel “The Legend Himself”, who have already achieved several impressive feats in the raid, are among those players who successfully completed a “Sparrow To Aksis” run. They showcase their success particularly well in this video:

The Sparrow was controlled by the Guardian Epicookiez. According to his own statements, there were some obstacles and issues to overcome.
However: “The Legend Himself” were not the first to bring a Sparrow to Aksis. The Redditor LogicIy claims the World-First status, having achieved the success with his fireteam about 5 hours earlier on the same day. They took over two weeks to accomplish this. Here’s a video from them:

The Legend Himself reports that they needed surprisingly few attempts. Epicookiez is a beast with the Sparrow, having made it through the jumping puzzle after Vosik on the first try. Overall, they had to go to Aksis three times: The first time allegedly had lags and typical raid issues, the second time the Sparrow was destroyed by Aksis (also visible in the video), and the third attempt was needed to create the screenshot at the end. It took them a total of 4 hours.
What do you think? Will you hop on the Sparrow and give it a try?

The second generation will probably be added to Pokémon GO soon, as we know from data mining. Here you get an overview of the most important Pokémon of the new generation.
Maybe it’s been a while for some of you since you last dealt intensively with the Pokémon of the second generation. Thanks to the data mining of the new Pokémon GO patch, we know that the second generation is just around the corner. They found the cries of Pokémon 1 – 251 in the data. To prepare you for the new Pokémon, here’s a little reminder of which they were.
The starter Pokémon
Every trainer gets a little friend at the beginning of their journey, who can protect them in the big, wide world. Their first Pokémon, the starter Pokémon. This is no different in generation 2. Maybe you can choose one again at the start of generation 2.

A complete dungeon full of puzzles? RIFT aims to provide players with a new challenge – but it is hidden.
Occasionally, some developers develop particular ambition or want to challenge players in a very special way. Those who have had enough of damage numbers and boss encounters in RIFT might find the latest dungeon “Tok’s Proving Grounds” to be tailored for them. This dungeon revolves around puzzles, mazes, and a bit of mathematics.
However, the first puzzle begins even earlier: the way to the dungeon is not marked on the map. Worse still, the access regularly changes its position and is anything but obvious. The only clue the developers give is that players should look for a “conspicuous geometric shape” in Alittu – something like a cube, a pyramid, or similar structures.
In the dungeon, one can choose between the 1- or 2-player variant, which adjusts the existing puzzles, making them more challenging. There are glass rooms, mazes, a crazy fantasy sudoku, and an Indiana Jones escape from a pyramid.
By the way: those who think they can simply memorize the solutions are mistaken. Each visit to the dungeon presents new random factors, so one has to engage with the puzzles anew every time.
The Rift folks warn: many spoilers in the video.

To create an Aed, players need to have a level 70 character and an incarnation available.
Another feature of 8.0 is upcoming content scaling. Low-level characters will have alternative progression options: They will have Astral Allods and battles available to them. This will also allow experienced characters to make their progression more varied.
When 8.0 will be released is still unclear. My.com mentions that it is “getting closer.”
Allods Online (2010) is experiencing a sort of renaissance in 2016. The MMORPG has received the important update 7.0 and is now fully integrated with Steam.
Blizzard is going to revise the reporting system in Overwatch . New features and options are supposed to assist players.
In the official forum, there are ongoing complaints about the reporting system of Overwatch, which is simply not matured enough. Some players wish for more control, such as a “votekick” feature – but these players seem to be in the minority.
As a counterexample, World of Warcraft is frequently mentioned, which has a kick function for dungeons, but is often abused to kick people for “trivial” reasons.
Symmetra in attack? Report directly! – This is often the case on the servers.
Jeff Kaplan joined the discussion:
“It’s nice to participate in a discussion on this topic and we are just as concerned as you are.
Our first step is to revise the current reporting system. This is already taking place and we have some design changes that we think will help. Once we bring the reporting design up to date, we will also revise all our conduct rules – including the penalties.
I wish this would happen faster, but at least there is progress.”
In response to concerned inquiries from some fans, Kaplan also reacted. Often, players are reported simply because they do not “play the hero that others want them to play.” This has led to a die-hard Torbjörn fan, who plays Torbjörn in every match, being temporarily banned over 12 times – and yet reaching the Master League.
“We keep cases like this in mind” said Kaplan.
Master League only with Torbjörn – and still received 12 “timeouts”. Someone must be guilty.
Blizzard is keeping an eye on such cases and also considers adjusting usage policies and sanctions. Therefore, anyone who reports players in the future just because they are playing a hero that they personally dislike should be careful. “False reports” could then also have consequences.
Cortyn says: The frequency with which people are reported or encouraged to report in Overwatch is clearly getting on my nerves. I enjoy – yes, even in Competitive – the matches where characters other than the usual 8 “We are currently the meta because the pros do it this way” characters appear. Especially the “Play healer X now or we’ll report you” threats take the fun out of Overwatch. Anyone who can’t handle that other players prefer different characters should perhaps only play with friends.
Larae Barrett’s bulletproof vest is one of the most sought-after items in The Division. What can this thing do?
Since the 1.5 update, you wouldn’t want to be in the shoes of the Rikers leader Larae Barrett. She is the final boss of the “Lexington Event Center” mission and is currently being taken down extremely often by agents. There are two reasons for this:
The mission is considered an efficient way to quickly get a lot of good loot.
Here you have the chance to acquire “Barret’s bulletproof vest”.
This vest is part of the named gear pieces that have been available since the 1.5 update in The Division – and is as rare as it is coveted. Massive revealed last Thursday that Barrett has been defeated over 2.85 million times since 1.5, as agents eagerly hunt for the item.
How to obtain Barret’s bulletproof vest?
You have three options to obtain the vest:
Larae Barrett: Start the “Lexington Event Center” mission on World Tier 5. For an increased chance, the Challenge Mode is recommended. The vest can only drop directly from an NPC, specifically from Larae Barrett.
Survival mode: In the sealed containers you receive as rewards in Survival, there is a chance to acquire the item.
Sealed containers through experience points: If you generate enough XP, for example by replaying “Lexington Event Center” repeatedly, you will receive containers. This way, you can also get the bulletproof vest.
The most important factor here is luck. Whether you receive the vest depends on chance – and the drop rates are very low. Massive stated they currently have no plans to increase the drop probability. Given the loot rain, there should also be items that are rare and bring joy when obtained.
What does Barret’s bulletproof vest do?
Like every named gear piece, the vest has a unique talent. This talent makes the item so desirable because it is well-thought-out and offers exciting benefits in practice.
This is what the talent brings:
If no skills are on cooldown, skill power is increased by 10%.
If a skill is on cooldown, damage is increased by 5%.
If two skills have an active cooldown, armor is increased by 10%.
Important note: Only one of these three bonuses is active at a time. For example, once two skills are on cooldown, the damage bonus is deactivated and only the armor is increased.
That’s why this talent is so well-thought-out: Many agents run around with a healing skill and a second skill designed to deal more damage. When you’re just before or just after a fight, the skills are (again) fully charged. The next use of a skill will be more powerful thanks to the increased skill power. When the fight begins, you use your damage skill, such as a turret or a pulse. Damage increases, and now you can deal substantial damage. Once you need to activate the healing skill, it means you’ve taken a lot of damage yourself. Now the increased armor kicks in and boosts your chances of survival. Practical!
By the way: The other bonuses and attribute increases on this piece of armor are random.
Currently, the stat increases provided by this talent are not correctly displayed in the UI. They are functioning, but a client patch is required to fix the display. Tip: If you switch out the body armor and then return directly to the Barret vest, the UI updates and shows the increased value.

Conclusion: Yes, Barret’s bulletproof vest is a strong item that you can rightly be happy about when you obtain it. However, it is not a “must-have” item, as there are currently many other gear set combinations possible to create strong builds.
Do you have the vest in your possession? What do you think of it?
The Winter Veil Festival in Heroes of the Storm is approaching. In addition to free bonuses, there are also stylish new skins available in the shop.
At Blizzard, it is more or less a tradition to hold special in-game events around Christmas, and Heroes of the Storm is no exception. From December 15, 2016 to January 4, 2017, the Winter Veil Festival takes place in the Nexus, offering a special quest, additional experience points, and plenty of discounts in the shop.
Basically, there is a 25% XP bonus during this time, which can be stacked with other bonuses – such as playing with friends or a booster.
Additionally, there is a quest that requires you to complete a total of 25 games in Heroes of the Storm. However, these cannot be played in Heroes Brawl but only in Quickmatch or ranked modes. Those who complete the quest will permanently receive the Holidays Goblin Mount!
The two new event skins, Winter Veil Lunara in cute reindeer form and Gingerbread Nazeebo, which looks quite creepy, were already showcased at BlizzCon in November. In the following video, you can see the two skins in action:

Aside from that, the classic skins from previous years are also available again in the shop, such as Old Man Kael’thas, Old Man Rehgar, Sugar Plum Sylvanas, and Winter Veil Jaina. Anyone looking to complete their collection of special skins should check back into the MOBA in the coming days.
In Destiny, we look at the gear in the “The Dawning” style.
In a few days, the Winter Event “The Dawning” starts in Destiny. Starting December 13th, there will be new gear to obtain, including the “The Dawning” gear. These are festively decorated armor pieces, individually designed for all three classes.
Here is the gear for the Titan:
The gear for the Hunter:
The gear for the Warlock:
The armor sets were inspired by helmet concepts from the artist Joseph Cross, which Bungie has now released:
Interestingly, the armors for the Hunter and Warlock were designed by Bungie, but not the Titan’s. The Titan gear was created at High Moon Studios, specifically by Priscilla Landerer. This Activision developer studio has been supporting Bungie in expanding the Destiny universe since late 2015. Just recently, it was officially announced that a third developer studio is now involved with Destiny.
How to get the new gear?
If you want to receive this festive gear, it will likely be necessary to invest real money. Via Twitter, Bungie announced that the armor pieces will be available in the “Treasures of the Dawning,” which can be purchased at the start of “The Dawning” in the Eververse.
So far, it is not known if there will be other ways to obtain these items. There are rumors on reddit that you can only get it through the new treasures. However, we currently do not know if these treasures can also be earned through gameplay. And who knows what will be in the daily gifts…
In the community, there has been ongoing criticism in recent days that in order to obtain the only interesting gear, one must open their wallet. The Festival of the Lost has already been dubbed “Festival of Microtransactions”. Now, at least with “The Dawning,” everything should be earnable. We will know more by December 13th.
The second generation is just around the corner for Pokémon GO. Trainers who think ahead should start saving some candies now. Why, you will find out here.
Niantic has confirmed in a press conference that more Pokémon are coming to Pokémon GO. Additionally, during a data mining, all cries of Pokémon from the second generation were found. Together, these suggest that soon the Pokémon from the Silver and Gold editions will be catchable. Anyone familiar with Pokémon knows immediately that among the second generation are evolution forms of the first! And that means you should start saving candies of the following Pokémon:
Blubella: Myrapla Candies
Blubella is a Grass-type Pokémon that evolves from Duflor. Myrapla is the pre-evolution of Duflor. Since this is a third evolution, you will likely need 100 Myrapla Candies for the evolution to Blubella.
In the original editions, however, Duflor evolves into Giflor with the item Leaf Stone and into Blubella with a Sun Stone. It remains to be seen how Niantic will handle this. When Blubella is exposed to strong sunlight, the leaves on its body begin to spin. The dance of this Pokémon is known in southern countries.
Heitera: Chaneira Candies
Heitera is a Normal-type Pokémon and is the evolution of Chainera. Since this is a second evolution stage, you will probably need 50 Chaneira Candies for the evolution. Anyone who takes a bite of the egg that Heiteira holds will become more careful and polite toward others.
Iksbat: Zubat Candies
Iksbat is the third stage of Zubat and evolves from Golbat. It is a Poison/Flying type and since this is a third evolution, you will likely need 100 Zubat Candies to evolve it. Iksbat’s wingbeat is so quiet that its prey is caught off guard. This Pokémon rests by hanging from a branch with its hind legs.
Psiana: Evoli Candies
Psiana is a Psychic-type Pokémon and is one of the many evolutions of Evoli. It might be that the developers will introduce an Easter egg for the evolution here. But you will likely need 25 Evoli Candies again. Psiana is loyal to every trainer it is attached to. This Pokémon has developed the ability of prophecy to protect its trainers from harm.
Nachtara: Evoli Candies
Nachtara belongs to the Evoli family and is a Dark-type Pokémon. As with Psiana, it is possible to obtain this Pokémon through an Easter egg. In the Gold and Silver editions, you get Nachtara when you evolve your Evoli at night and a Psiana when you evolve Evoli during the day. Perhaps this will not be different in Pokémon GO. You will likely need 25 Evoli Candies.
So save up for both evolutions, Nachtara and Psiana, and better already have 50 Evoli Candies. Nachtara has evolved by being exposed to moon waves. It hides in the cover of darkness, waiting for a foe to move. The rings on its body light up when it attacks.
Seedraking: Seeper Candies
Seedraking is a Water/Dragon type and is the third stage of Seeper. The intermediary is Seemon. If you want to evolve Seemon, better save up 100 Seeper Candies. Seedraking sleeps on the ocean floor where no one else lives. When a storm arises, it wakes up and searches for prey.
Porygon2: Porygon Candies
Porygon2 is the evolution of Porygon and is a Normal type. As a second evolution, 50 Porygon Candies should be enough for its evolution. Porygon2 was created by humans in a scientific experiment. It has artificial intelligence, allowing it to learn new gestures and emotions independently.
Quaxo: Quapsel Candies
Quaxo is a Water type. It is a similar case to Blubella: In the Silver and Gold editions, you need to give it a King’s Stone to evolve from Quaputzi to Quaxo. If it holds a Water Stone, it will evolve to Quappo. However, we will assume that it will likely need 100 Quapsel Candies since it is a third stage. Quaxo has curly hair that gives it the status of a king. The longer and curlier its hair, the more respect this Pokémon earns from its peers.
Scherox: Sichlor Candies
Scherox has two types, Bug and Steel. It is the second evolution to Sichlor and we assume that you will need 50 Sichlor Candies to evolve it. Scherox’s body is as hard as steel. Ordinary attacks do not scare it. This Pokémon flaps its wings to regulate its body temperature.
Laschoking: Flegmon Candies
Laschoking is a Psychic/Water Pokémon and an alternative evolution to Lahmus. The first stage is Flegmon. As a second evolution, you will need 50 Flegmon Candies. In the editions, Flegmon evolves to Laschoking with a King’s Stone. Therefore, it remains to be seen how it will evolve to Laschoking in Pokémon GO. Laschoking researches every day to uncover the secrets of the world. This Pokémon forgets everything it has discovered when the Muschas on its head falls off.
Stahlos: Onix Candies
As the name suggests, Stahlos is a Steel type – with Ground as a second type. It evolves from an Onix and will thus need 50 Onix Candies as a second stage. Stahlos lives even deeper underground than Onix. This Pokémon always digs toward the Earth’s core. It has been proven that this Pokémon has already reached depths of 1 km.
Leya says: This list is pure speculation. How Niantic will actually implement the evolutions of the second generation in Pokémon GO remains to be seen. However, it certainly can’t hurt to store the candies mentioned above for the newcomers. I see a high probability that the evolution will be similar to the first generation and categorized by evolution stage. It remains to be seen how it will work with the special cases Blubella and Quaxo.
Will you start saving your candies for the second generation Pokémon now? Or will you wait and see until they are actually added to Pokémon GO?
Completed. The first player in WoW: Legion has finished their artifact weapon and is thus 12 times ahead of most others.
While most players of World of Warcraft are slowly but surely finishing the grind to unlock the first 34 talents of the artifact weapon, one player has taken it much further.
The artifact weapon of Cerli, a player from the server The Maelstrom, has also unlocked the last 20 points. As reported by Buffed, the numbers could lead many to feel a little dizzy. Because apart from the first 5.2 million points of artifact power, Cerli needed almost 60 million additional power to level the weapon to its maximum.
Achieved the seemingly impossible, the Unholy Death Knight Cerli did so through a lot of instance visits, especially in the Maw of Souls (818 runs), the Court of Stars (444 runs), and the Darkheart Thicket (383 runs).
For completing mythic dungeons with keystones, there is usually a relatively high sum of artifact power that can refill the bar by several percentage points. Nonetheless, this is an achievement that requires an enormous amount of time, effort, and especially endurance to accomplish so quickly.
For the time being, Cerli can probably rest. New artifact power talents are not expected to arrive until patch 7.2, which will still take a few months. Before that, the “interim patch” 7.1.5 will be released, which will mainly focus on class balance and smaller content, like the Mage Tavern Crawl. Enough time for Cerli to also bring several twinks up to the same level.
How far are you with upgrading your weapon and at what level are your twinks now?
