Last week, there were some significant events in the world of MMOs and online games. In our “Mein-MMO Video News,” you will get an overview.
During the last gaming week, there was a big release: Ubisoft’s long-awaited melee game For Honor was released on February 14 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We at Mein-MMO accompanied the launch with important information, guides, and news. In the future, you will still be able to read a lot on our “For Honor” page.
However, For Honor was not the only topic of the week: A controversial balance patch was released for Destiny, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is approaching the open beta, and there is also fresh information about Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen and Final Fantasy XIV.
Refaser gives you an overview of the important news from the last few days in the video:

The community was sure that Doomfist would be the next hero in Overwatch , but the Game Director thinks otherwise.
It would be the typical, perfect origin story for a new hero in Overwatch. Posters all over Numbani talk about “Doomfist,” a powerful glove that grants incredible powers to its wearer.
Actor Terry Crews would like to voice Doomfist, receives a lot of support and then “coincidentally” visits Blizzard. Recently, new files appeared in the game data showing how the “Doomfist” is stolen from the payload in Numbani. This makes the next hero more than clear – or is it not?
Jeff Kaplan crushes hopes for Doomfist
In the official forum, Jeff Kaplan took the time to stir up some confusion again. A user wanted the Game Director to “casually” post a list of the next heroes planned for the future. However, this not-so-serious request actually received a response. Kaplan wrote:
“24 is not the one you think it is.”
The number 24 refers to the number of current heroes in Overwatch – there are actually 23. After Doomfist was already considered “guaranteed” across all social media, this statement now raises many new questions.
It is particularly puzzling why the payload in Numbani is getting damaged when Doomfist does not even appear. Perhaps Blizzard will first implement a “villain” hero who steals the Doomfist? That seems plausible, as Blizzard has also confirmed in the past that there are currently “too few evil characters” in Overwatch.
The Frontlines game mode in Battlefield 1 comes with the “They Shall not Pass” DLC and is a combination of two existing game modes.
Next month, the “They Shall not Pass” expansion for Battlefield 1 is set to be released. This will unlock the French Army, a stationary weapon, additional vehicles, and a new elite class in the game. In addition, a new game mode that combines Conquest and Rush is expected to provide variety. The Frontlines mode in Battlefield 1 was introduced in the video.

In this mix of Conquest and Rush, you must fight from flag to flag as a player. Once you have captured a point, you proceed towards the enemy base to gain control of additional areas. If a team loses control of the flag closest to their base, the Rush mode continues. Here, you must attack two enemy telegraph poles. As defenders, you can protect yourselves from the attackers with artillery fire.
There is always only one objective active, starting with the one in the middle. After that, the successful team moves on to the next flag until the telegraph poles must be attacked. This Rush phase ends when both telegraph poles have been destroyed or when the attackers have no reinforcements left.
If the attack on the telegraph poles fails, it goes back to the Conquest mode, where both teams try to capture the active flag again. A match is only over when one team has destroyed both enemy telegraph poles, or the game time has expired.
In The Division, the stats on the armor pieces are being changed with update 1.6. We summarize the most important changes.
In The Division 1.5, the best attribute you can have on your gear is armor. Therefore, for most (or all) builds, it is the only logical choice to roll this attribute on the items. Variety and diversity do not come into play here.
With update 1.6, Massive wants to change that. Armor will be extremely “nerfed”. The “native armor” stays on the gear, however, the additional armor as a higher attribute will be removed from all items:
The “Extra Armor” will be removed and replaced with health points
These changes to gear stats you should note
The most important changes at a glance:
The armor as a higher attribute will be removed and replaced with health points. This change is retroactive – so your current items are also affected.
To avoid a duplicate health point bonus, the health point bonus on already existing armor pieces will be replaced by “All Resist”. This increases resistance to status effects.
In addition, these retroactive changes to the stats apply:
Enemy armor damage will be a higher attribute.
Damage against elite will become a lower attribute.
On your current armor pieces, with 1.6, enemy armor damage will be replaced by damage against elite and vice versa.
Important: If you have recalibrated armor pieces and improved them with armor, health points, enemy armor damage, or damage against elite, this recalibration will be undone with update 1.6. The items will revert to the attributes they had when found. You will get back your currency for upgrades. However, there are a few exceptions: Recalibrated health points on knee pads and chest pieces (as long as there is no additional armor on it) will remain.

What bonuses will come on the armor pieces in 1.6?
The new armor pieces that you will receive in 1.6 can have a selection of the following bonuses. The minus means the bonus is removed compared to 1.5, the plus means the bonus is added, the = means the bonus remains unchanged:
At Final Fantasy XIV there was more information about 4.0 and the “Stormblood” expansion.
At the fan festival in Frankfurt, there was a lot of new information about the “Stormblood” expansion, which is set to release on June 20. We summarize the key points from a Q&A session with FF14 head Naoki Yoshida and add information from the keynote:
There will be two new classes: Samurai and Red Mage . Both are DPS classes. Currently, no additional class is planned, nor any “in-between” like the Ninja. First, Square Enix wants to ensure the balance is correct; only then will they consider new classes.
The popular “Blitzball” could serve as a new side game. However, the team has concerns about implementing it the same way as in Final Fantasy X. It would need to be modified to make it suitable for the MMO, but then the question arises whether it would still be what fans expect. The team is currently working on resolving this dilemma.
The revision of the combat system aims to ease gameplay for players using controllers. Unnecessary skills will be consolidated to prevent the number of skills from increasing further. Additionally, FF14 players currently have to keep track of too many buffs and debuffs, and Square Enix intends to address that as well.

Square Enix is working on an app that allows players to stay in touch with friends and their guild, the Free Company, even outside of Final Fantasy XIV.
Regarding VR, Yoshida was quite sharp-tongued. He proposed setting up a special room and naming it “Miqote Paradise” where one could pay $50 entrance and have fun with Miqote, the cat ladies of Final Fantasy XIV. However, no developer has come forward to make it happen. In a more serious moment: Currently, virtual reality would only be worthwhile if special content were developed for it.
With Stormblood comes a new housing zone in the “East Asian-inspired” Shirogane district.
A new beast tribe is the Kojin, who worship Susano – after Ravana, Susano will be the second new primal made specifically for FF14.

Blizzard ends support for older Windows systems. It is time to slowly upgrade the PC. WoW, Diablo 3, Hearthstone, and other Blizzard games will soon not run on Windows XP and Windows Vista.
World of Warcraft has comparatively low requirements for an MMORPG and is satisfied with little computing power. However, gradually an upgrade is necessary, and not every “oldie” can be supported forever. Therefore, Blizzard announced in the official forum that older Windows systems operating with the XP and Vista operating systems will soon no longer be supported. This also affects all other current games from Blizzard.
“Later this year, we will begin the process of ending support for Windows Vista and Windows XP for World of Warcraft, StarCraft II, Hearthstone, and Heroes of the Storm. Microsoft ended mainstream support for these versions back in 2009 and 2012, but because a part of our audience was still using them at that time, we continued to support them. Since then, there have been three major releases of Windows, and the majority of our audience has already upgraded to newer versions.
It is time to upgrade the PC.
If we no longer support these older systems, the games will not run on them, which is why we urge all players with an old operating system to switch to a newer system. These changes will occur in stages, and we will publish the schedule as the dates for the respective game approach.”
In recent years, the system requirements for World of Warcraft have steadily increased, making it necessary for old machines to be upgraded over time to still be able to play WoW. The introduction of new expansions has often improved the graphics, thereby putting more strain on the hardware.
Is anyone still using Windows Vista or Windows XP?
The online shooter Battleborn (PC, PS4, Xbox One) continues to fight bravely and brings a new DLC mission, this time featuring the fencer Phoebe. Here, you explore an ancient ruin.
Battleborn has been declared dead for months, but it continues to live on and still has a small but hardcore fan community. Furthermore, new heroes and DLC missions for other characters are still regularly released. So far, there have been episodes featuring Attikus, Oscar Mike, Montana, and Tobi. Now it is Phoebe’s turn.
A treat for snipers
Phoebe is a floating aristocrat from the Last Light Consortium faction. She fights with a series of flying rapier. She is a fast and deadly assassin hero. In the DLC episode “Phoebe and the Heart of Ekkunar”, however, the fencer acts as the quest giver and voice from the off.
With a hero of your choice, you dive into an ancient ruin on Ekkunar and engage in a gun-fueled race against the Thrall forces of the Jennerites. The map is very vertical and you frequently change position. Additionally, the terrain offers many open spaces: ideal for snipers!
The new Battleborn DLC episode “Phoebe and the Heart of Ekkunar” will be released on February 23 and is free for season pass holders. All others will pay 700 Platinum in the in-game shop.
Todd Howard from Bethesda stated in an interview that there are currently two projects in the works that are intended to overshadow everything done before. Could Fallout Online be one of them?
With the new games, Bethesda aims to stay true to its style while also bringing fresh ideas to the genre. Furthermore, the games are supposed to be larger than anything the developer studio has created before.
This sounds like two role-playing games are in development that are supposed to be more extensive than The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim and Fallout 4. It immediately brings to mind an MMORPG. The Elder Scrolls Online is already significantly more extensive than all other entries in the series, staying true to the core, which is the RPG genre, but it is somewhat different as well.
Bethesda is unlikely to develop a competitor to TESO
A fantasy MMORPG is probably not on Bethesda’s agenda. After all, the studio already operates The Elder Scrolls Online, which is successful and is expected to continue running for some time. While a The Elder Scrolls 6 is possible, it would mean that the team would also be competing with TESO, as many would likely switch from the MMO to the single-player title. For this reason, The Elder Scrolls 6 is likely still several years away from being announced.
However, a Fallout Online would make sense if it were different from The Elder Scrolls Online. I have already contemplated how a Fallout Online could look. Back then, I suggested that a survival game in the style of ARK or Conan Exiles would be sensible. Players could build settlements together, expand, defend them, explore the post-apocalyptic wasteland, and fight against mutants and bandits as well as hostile players. Conquests of player towns could be a crucial element.
I still find such an online game conceivable. Even if the survival genre is currently quite oversaturated. But maybe Bethesda is planning something bigger. Bethesda games thrive on stories, quests, and narrative. But can this be combined with a survival game? Conan Exiles attempts to do this by having players find clues about the ancient people who once lived in the land of the Exiled in the desert. This creates a backstory that one can experience on their own terms.
A survival game with story and quests?
Small stories here and there that do not follow the same repetitive collection and killing quests as conventional MMORPGs could be interesting. I think back too far – to the days of Ultima Underworld, from 1992. The game had an interesting way of telling stories. It posed a problem to the player. For example, to intrude a crypt and retrieve an artifact. How the player accomplished this was up to them. They could rush in, defeat all the undead, and grab the item. But they could also sneak in, stay in the shadows, and try to reach the goal without fighting.
Or they could search for a back entrance or lure another large monster into the crypt to clear it out for them. There was no predetermined path, no scripted events. Everything happened based on how the player approached the problem. I could envision something like this as a narrative form in a survival game. This would enhance a Fallout Online and take it beyond the confines of conventional survival games. Whether something like this is planned, remains to be seen.
How about a co-op RPG in a new world?
The environments are credible and consistent, looking good.
Perhaps Bethesda is also working on completely new franchises. That would also have its charm.
A new fantasy world without the burdens of The Elder Scrolls lore. A clean slate with a world that players can explore anew. And perhaps it would even be possible to play online together with friends. Not an MMORPG with thousands of players, but more of a co-op game for five to six adventurers. But with twists.
Each player can follow their own path, occasionally parting from the others to do something alone or even betraying their friends and becoming an enemy.
Let’s see when Bethesda announces the first of these games. Perhaps during E3, as the developer studio is planning a major conference again.
Whether Fallout Online will happen remains to be seen. But you can look forward to these games:
In For Honor, there is a display error in the in-game shop: Can you now purchase the Season Pass with Steel or not?
Since February 14th, Ubisoft’s melee combat game For Honor has been on the market. Since then, there is an in-game shop that you can access directly from the main menu. Here, you have several offers available, which you can purchase for real money or with the in-game currency Steel.
The shop also features the Season Pass. Users noticed that it could be purchased with Steel – at least a high amount of Steel is indicated. However: This is an error!
Don’t save your Steel for the Season Pass
Ubisoft support comments on the question of whether the Season Pass can be purchased with Steel: No, that is not possible. Instead, a display error is at play.
A certain amount of Steel is displayed when you view the other offers in the shop in a certain order. I just tried this and yes, depending on the offers I looked at previously, I was shown 27500 Steel, 30000 Steel, or even 45000 Steel. When you open the shop and directly select the Season Pass, no Steel amount is mentioned:
In short: If you want to secure the contents of the Season Pass, you need to open your wallet. 40 Euros are required for that.
Ubisoft states that they are working on a fix for this error.
In Destiny, handguns have dominated the Crucible since update 2.5.0.2. They are the best special weapons in PvP.
Originally, “Rise of Iron” was meant to enhance the niche category of handguns. The damage of all types of handguns was normalized, and damage drop-off and stability were improved. In PvE, there were even substantial damage bonuses.
However, in PvP, these rapid-firing beasts could not compete against shotguns. These dominated the special weapon slot for months. Now, after the balance patch 2.5.0.2, things look very different: Bungie has managed to have numerous Guardians running around with “Sidearms” in PvP. An important reason for this is: With handguns, the new special ammo scarcity can be circumvented.
Handguns are the new meta pick for special weapons in the Crucible of Destiny
A look at the statistics from guardian.gg shows that handguns in the Crucible can not only compete, but are now the dominant weapon category. Nearly 30% of all kills in the Trials are achieved with handguns, which is an outstanding value. Significantly behind are sniper rifles (thanks to NLB) and hand cannons.
But even in other game modes like Control, handguns are the special weapons with the most kills. Overall, they lag behind hand cannons and auto rifles in Control, but they have established a dominant position in their slot.
Therefore, let’s take a look at: Which handguns have succeeded after 2.5.0.2 on PS4 and Xbox One? For our list of the 6 best handguns, we are using data from guardian.gg as well as estimates from weapon expert Mercules904.
Teacup Storm
Let’s start directly with a sleek handgun that is always among the top in the statistics: Teacup Storm. Compared to other handguns, it has a low fire rate of 91, but a higher damage output of 15. The Teacup Storm has an extremely high range and good aim assist – which is excellent for a handgun. Stability, magazine size, and reload speed are, however, low. Here are the stats:
You can obtain the Teacup Storm through the Vanguard. You can buy it directly from the Vanguard quartermaster with a solid roll. Here it comes with Zen Moment, High-Caliber Rounds, and Reactive Reload. It doesn’t get much better than that – Snapshot would be the cherry on top.
However: This handgun archetype is not considered the best. The time-to-kill of the Teacup Storm lags behind the handgun on the next page with 0.7 seconds, for example. However, the Teacup Storm shines through range and aim assist. This allows for pretty kills in PvP.
There are some impressive figures regarding Revelation Online at the end of the closed beta phase. In it, you can find out which class was played the most and which the least, that RO players like pandas, and the number of corpses in PvP.
Revelation Online has gone through three closed beta phases and became more comprehensive over the course of these testing rounds. The developers at My.com diligently collected information and feedback and created an overview containing the most impressive figures from the RO betas.
Revelation Online: The most popular classes – Scythe beats Armor
The infographic explains, for example, which classes were most popular. At the top are still the scythe-wielding Occultist and the Swordmage summoning swords, both at 18%. The cool Gunslinger follows closely behind at 17%. Players were also happy with the Spirit-Shaper. The Blademaster, as a typical sword-fighter, was a little less popular at 16 percent. Bringing up the rear is the tanky Vanguard. Only 14 percent of all RO players wanted to play the hefty tank.
Most of the created heroes were found in the cities of Sulan, Sidus Ur, and Port Whetstone. There, it likely swarmed with panda bear accessories, as a proud 42 percent wanted a panda as a reward from the “Emerald Falls”. The “Lucky Rabbit” only found a home with 11 percent of all players.
Over half a million deaths in PvP
The impressive number from the beta of Revelation Online is certainly 615,465. This number of players was taken down, chopped up, shot, or cremated by other players in PvP. But it wasn’t just other players responsible for many dead characters. The three bosses Demon Urgon, Clawmaster Buri, and the Scarab Titan also had a heap of players on their conscience.
On the other hand, thousands of bloodthirsty players let their rage run wild and slaughtered thousands of weak creatures. They particularly had it in for the harmless Sedgeleings, the noble Muskhorns, and the rather disgusting Corpsehounds.
Black Desert Online receives a new class just over a year after release. Also known as Dark Knight, the Dark Elf. But how does the dark elf play? Our YouTube colleague Refaser has captured everything in a video.
In Black Desert Online, there is already a considerable selection of classes. From the delicate Elf Ranger to the sturdy Warrior and the gigantic Berserker, there’s already a lot on offer. Later, the sword-swinging Samurai classes of Musa and Maehwa and the sneaky Ninjas and Kunoichi were added.
Black Desert Online – Sexy Dark Elf
The year 2016 offered a lot of content for Black Desert Online. This is not expected to change in 2017, and soon there will be a new class with the Dark Elf (Dark Knight). She is a graceful warrior from the eponymous people of the Dark Elves. These dark pointed ears originate from the region of Kamasilve and fight with a black curved saber called “Scimitar.”

The Dark Elf is only lightly armored and thus shows a lot of bright elf skin. However, she is as quick and agile as the Black Mage, and her gameplay also somewhat resembles that of the similarly dark Mage. As you can see in Refaser’s video, she zooms across the battlefield, beating enemies with her blows or fighting them from a distance with magic.
The Dark Elf is still sleeping
In the Korean version of Black Desert Online, the Dark Elf has already awakened and received her awakening weapon. It consists of a bunch of flying purple daggers and swords that provide the elf with even more brutal area damage and also trigger life drain. However, in the upcoming Western version, the elf is still asleep and has to rely on her Scimitar.
After the release of the Dark Elf, her homeland Kamasilve will also come into the game as a new region. The already huge world of Black Desert Online will therefore get even bigger! Additionally, the Dark Elf is expected to receive a different name in the German version.
The incredibly successful online shooter Crossfire in Asia is set to launch in Europe according to the developer Smilegate.
In the lists of titles generating the most revenue globally, Crossfire is always at the top. In December 2016, Crossfire ranked 2nd on PC, far ahead of games like CS:GO or Battlefield 1, reports Superdata. Only the worldwide phenomenon LoL is more successful.
Crossfire is considered “the Korean Counterstrike.”
However, Crossfire has so far been mostly known in Asia. That is set to change now. Smilegate is opening an office in Europe, primarily to promote Crossfire. The free-to-play online shooter will be managed from Berlin. Emanuel Schleussinger, the former CTO of Aeria Games, is to head the office.
Smilegate Europe will now take care of the brand “Crossfire” in the EU region.

Smilegate hopes that a local presence will help build an eSports scene. Currently, a team is working on a German version. The focus will be on developing Crossfire into an eSports brand.
Crossfire has existed in South Korea since 2007. It is a PC-only game. The version for the US market, which also runs here in Europe, differs from the South Korean original and is developed separately.
Mein MMO thinks: When thinking of the “most successful shooter in the world,” one might envision a different game than a 10-year-old title that shows its age. But for the “most successful MMORPG in the world,” one wouldn’t expect it to look like WoW, but rather have a visually stunning title like Black Desert in mind. Even LoL, in comparison to Paragon, doesn’t look fresh anymore but still earns significantly more money.
Perhaps it really is about the “inner values.”
It remains to be seen whether Smilegate can establish such a game in Europe. It certainly won’t be easy. Even the oldie Lineage is extremely successful in the MMORPG genre in Korea, but it has never been able to gain a foothold here in the West.
If you prefer to play at night in Overwatch , you will receive a better skill rating – due to lack of competition.
In Overwatch, the 3rd Season is slowly coming to an end, so many players are still trying to quickly obtain a high skill rating – as this is rewarded with additional “Competitive Points”. Some players resort to unscrupulous methods, which is part of everyday life – especially cheat programs and hacks are widespread. But there are also much simpler methods to achieve a high skill rating: You play at night and in the early morning hours with a good team.
Night teams climb to the top of the rankings without competition
Especially in regions with generally lower player numbers, such as Brazil, you encounter significantly fewer players late at night. This leads to the matchmaker pairing players whose skill ratings are far apart. There have been several instances where the average skill rating of the teams was more than 1500 points apart:
In such encounters, it is not surprising that the full 6-player team with the higher skill rating essentially had a “Free Win”. However, that is not truly deserved.
A lower player count during the early morning hours also favors “Win Trading” – where one team simply lets the other win so they can quickly climb the skill rating.
Other players complain on Reddit and the Blizzard forum about such nighttime activities. They find it unfair that teams reach the top without ever playing against real competition.
Cortyn says: I find the problem difficult to solve. In the case of “Win Trading”, it should still be relatively simple to prove, but how do you “punish” players who only play at certain times? As a comment on Kotaku said: “What should Blizzard do? Should Jeff Kaplan say: “Please go to bed, okay?”
It would certainly be conceivable to implement “curfews” for ranked matches in different regions. Some MMORPGs have similar measures for PvP matches to prevent distortion. However, I doubt that this would be suitable for Overwatch.
The team behind Camelot Unchained talks about the challenges of the small team and possible alpha and beta tests.
Camelot Unchained is meant to be the spiritual successor to Dark Age of Camelot. The PvP MMORPG came in first in our survey on the most anticipated MMORPGs of 2017, but a beta is still a long way off. It has been announced multiple times and postponed several times. Most recently, summer 2016 was mentioned – looking out of the window, it’s clear: that was quite a while ago. There has been no sign of the beta so far.
As the project lead Mark Jacobs says, clearer answers about a release date will come once a handful of key systems are fully active and functioning. The team has often suffered from a lack of personnel in the past, also because they developed “off the beaten path.” Camelot Unchained is situated on the East Coast of the USA in Virginia, while most potential employees are located on the West Coast. This makes recruitment difficult.
In a comment on the site Massivelyop, where Jacobs often comments, he says: “If everything goes smoothly, you can expect alpha and beta tests on an upcoming weekend.”

Alpha and beta on one of the upcoming weekends – if everything goes smoothly
Jacobs knows why this is taking so long: “Our programming team has only just become double digits. A game like ours would be difficult anyway.
At the same time, developing an engine is, in the eyes of many of our industry colleagues, like a ride on a crazy train. As far as we are concerned: We are on this crazy train and it’s picking up speed. We can already see the next stations!“
WoW players often use calculations for “Killing Points” to determine the legendary drop rate – but that is incorrect, says Blizzard.
The legendary items are among the most powerful equipment that a character can currently acquire in World of Warcraft. Because they are relatively rare and the chance increases with the number of activities completed, some players have tried to create a formula that should relatively accurately predict when the next item approximately drops.
Blizzard has now said: That’s nonsense. These “Killing Points” counters are sometimes based on outdated or simply incorrect data.
The drop rates were increased in 7.1 and 7.1.5
In the official forum, Community Manager Ornyx has now explained several points regarding legendaries and their drop rates. According to him, the drop rates for the first and second legendary per character were increased in patches 7.1 and 7.1.5. Fresh characters at level 110 often already have a legendary item in one of their emissary chests on the first day.
However, the basic chance of getting a legendary item has also been continuously increased.
Ornyx does not specify any concrete numbers, but presumably, most hotfixes from the past week each provided a small boost to the drop rates.
The first two legendaries are guaranteed, starting from the third, each has the same small drop chance
“We believe it is very important to clarify this: Currently, you need the same amount of luck/effort to obtain the third legendary as you do to obtain the eighth. We have seen some players and tools trying to determine the drop rates of legendary items based on outdated data, but this data is extremely outdated. In short: your chance of receiving the next legendary item is probably much better than you think.”
The continuously increased chance also corresponds to a goal of Blizzard, as they intend to:
“One of our long-term goals is to allow you to swap legendary items for specific situations when the situation requires it (…)”
How many legendary items have you acquired with your characters? Have you noticed the increased drop chance on “fresh” alt characters?
With the LG55UH625V, Amazon today offers a nice companion for the Playstation 4 and the Xbox One S and their 4K capabilities: With 55 inches, the UHD television also has the right screen diagonal. Also exciting is the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge with 128 GB of storage and an update to Android 7.
UHD televisions are currently replacing FullHD devices in mass. The mid-range price segment is represented by LG with the LG55UH625V, which costs 729€ even without a flash sale and should be significantly cheaper as an Amazon offer. The UHD television offers a 55-inch diagonal and is of course equipped with WebOS for smart functions. This means that content from Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, and Sky can also be enjoyed comfortably in the living room – even without a connected console.
More suitable for the desk than for the living room is the Corsair Strafe RGB, a high-quality gaming keyboard with mechanical keys. Thanks to Cherry MX Brown, the keyboard offers excellent tactile feedback. Included in the package are keycaps for MOBA and shooter fans. The RGB lighting can be flexibly adjusted via software, and this also applies to many other functions of the keyboard.
A smartphone can never offer enough storage – and if it is also fast, offers an excellent display, and looks pleasantly futuristic, that certainly doesn’t hurt. With a 5.1-inch display diagonal, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is not too big, especially since the curved display leaves no visible screen edges on the sides. Unlike the Galaxy S7, the S6 Edge does not have a slot for memory cards; however, the smartphone offered by Amazon today is already equipped with 128 gigabytes of storage. Android 5 is pre-installed, but Samsung has started with the update to Android 7; if in doubt, Android 6.0.1 is already available.
The offers shown here are equipped with so-called affiliate links. With a purchase through one of these links, we receive a small commission from the respective provider.

The fantasy MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV has announced a version for the PS4 Pro and for the Nintendo Switch.
At the edge of the fan festival in Frankfurt, there was information about further versions of Final Fantasy XIV. A version for the PS4 Pro is apparently in the works.
The mastermind behind FF14, Naoki Yoshida, played the latest build the week before and now says that the “PS4 Pro” support will come soon with a patch.
PS4 Pro: No 4k, game to run smoother
In an MMORPG, it is about displaying as many things on one screen at the same time, so the PS4 Pro will not bring better graphics. The team will use the extra power to display more objects. They do not want to go for 4k, but rather let the game run smoother and more fluid.
Yoshida assures that users of the standard PS4 need not worry. The team will also put a lot of work into the older consoles to provide the best possible experience.
Even though the PS3 will no longer be supported with the expansion Stormblood, PS3 players have the option to upgrade to a PS4 version.
Nintendo Switch: Port not excluded, but only with cross-play
Regarding a possible version of Final Fantasy XIV on the Nintendo Switch the statements are less specific.
The basic goal is to run Final Fantasy XIV on as many platforms as possible, but they definitely do not want a version that is isolated and not connected to the other versions.
Currently, Yoshida probably does not know yet where the Nintendo Switch stands on the possibility of cross-play. If cross-play with the Switch is possible, Yoshida would be very interested in bringing Final Fantasy XIV to the Nintendo Switch.
At the fan festival in Frankfurt, Square Enix also presented the new trailer for the June expansion Stormblood:
In FIFA 17 FUT, the Ratings Refresh is ongoing. Today, the players from Serie A (Calcio A) who will receive an upgrade or downgrade have been announced.
Since February 17, the “Ratings Refresh” phase in FUT 17 has been in effect. EA Sports is adjusting the overall ratings of some players who have earned an upgrade or downgrade through their performances in real-world football over the last few months.
The Ratings Refresh will run until February 27, during which new cards will be released over the course of these ten days. EA Sports is following a league order: Two days ago, it was the Premier League, and now it is Serie A, which is referred to as Calcio A in FIFA 17.

In the survival MMO ARK Survival Evolved, official “No Taming” servers were recently added for PS4 and Xbox, where it is not possible to tame or ride dinosaurs. Players receive bonuses for this.
Studio Wildcard is trying an experiment and taking away players’ loyal, prehistoric pets. It is now possible to join official servers on Playstation 4 and Xbox One that do not allow taming, riding, or breeding dinosaurs.
The developers want to see how well your survival game holds up when they take away this important core element from the players. These servers have been available for a while on PC. Now they are coming to consoles.

“No Taming” – Servers could disappear at any time
This is just an experiment to see how this mode is received by players. It could happen at any time that the servers are taken down and data is deleted.
No Dino Pets, but Bonuses
Dinos are a huge asset for survivors on normal servers and are excellent farmers or suitable for travel. Therefore, players on these special servers receive bonuses.
The following rules apply on the “No Taming” servers:
Maximum 100 players on a server
No taming
Increased harvest and EXP rate. (2x normal rate, with an evolution event 6x)
